UNQUESTIONABLE gives O'Brien & Moore sixth Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf

Aidan O’Brien enjoyed a one-two in the Prevagen Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf as Unquestionable led home Mountain Bear in the Grade One race.
There was a change of plan when stablemate River Tiber was unable to compete in the contest on veterinary advice, meaning Ryan Moore took the ride on Unquestionable in place of Frankie Dettori.
The former horse was expected to be a contender, but in his absence it was Unquestionable who strode to a decisive success as Mountain Bear was steered to the runner-up spot by Dylan Browne McMonagle.
It was a sixth victory in the race for the master of Ballydoyle and stable jockey Moore.

While it may be hard to say Ryan Moore is the greatest jockey ever, he is as good as any, but let there be no doubt that Aidan is the greatest ever.

@@signoresantinoburnett1169 ..That’s fair enough, great trainer. There isn’t much in it between the great ones. Fabre , Gosden, Head, Stoute, all brilliant. I’m just going for Vincent because he was brilliant at flat & NH codes.

@@jackskerry2467Vincent O Brien was from another planet in terms of the way he saw racing in the present and the future.He bought the European breeding rights for a tiny Canadian pony called Northern Dancer,he also bought the European rights to Northfields,Mr Prospector.Sir,you are correct Vincent was differently brilliant.

Mountain Bear impressed me more in that race, came from way back ran about 10 wide and got 2nd 👏👏
Jockey Ryan Moore and trainer Aidan O'Brien once again schooling the local wildlife at Santa Anita in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf. Outstanding ride by jockey Dylan Browne McMonagal also on O'Brien's other runner in the race, Mountain Bear to get up for 2nd-place. Especially when you consider he suffered a non-displaced fracture of one of his legs during the race.

That's because it's a weak race, the Europeans win it every year, but they wasn't schooling them in the fillies version, were they?

@@nightowl7459 , Is that how it is? The turf races the Euro's win are weak and the one's the American's win are strong? LMFAO. Ask me, save 2nd place finisher Porta Fortuna, this was a pretty weak lot of Euro fillies, and even the connections of Porta Fortuna were uncertain whether she'd stay a mile or not given she'd only raced further than 6F one time when she was beaten over 7F in the Moyglare Stud Stakes in Ireland. If Karl Burke had sent over Fallen Angel or most especially if Aidan O'Brien had brought over his Prix Marcel Boussac winner, Opera Singer, this lot of fillies would've been running for place money at best.

The tracks in Europe are way better, and a lot of the their horses didn’t make the trip
What a roller coaster of a day. Well done AOB - he's just brilliant and Unquestionable looked magnificent. But what's going on with all these horses being withdrawn? It would have been great to see :Unquestionable v River Tiber and another Frankie v Ryan contest.

Thomas had this Aiden O' Brien horse!! It was a favorite, but he put enough on it to be solid!! Proud of him!! Also Congratulations to Aidan and Ryan!! Another Breeders Cup Win in this particular race. You can say whatever you want about those two, but they are Laughing all the way to the bank. They are the Money Men. Congratulations 🎇🎉

They con the public on a daily basis during the entire flat season prestige is all there after look at the pair of them to a £1 level stake all time your thousands down all you and Thomas do is big em up the best result of the evening was mick Applebee’s winer proper price nice double with the tabor mangier one sorry Aiden one ☝️ 😂

Frankie WAS going to ride this horse, but a last minute change proved this horse to be one of the best.
This just confirms what we already knew. The gap between US form on turf and the form in Europe and Japan has widened considerably over the last decade or more. I had two price plays on the FRi card, ie, Givemthebeatboys in the Juv T Spr and Mountain Bear in this race. GMTBB gets scratched while two horses he beat soundly run 2/3 in a Euro sweep in the sprint. MB breaks last and is forced way wide to run 2nd while having broken his leg. Even with that, it took a perfect trip from Unquestionable to beat him. The odds disparity was absurd. MB ran slightly closer to Rosalion than Unquestionable had, and he was 20-1 vs 3-2.
Unquestionable the Best Jockey and Trainer in the Universe 👀
How many more lengths did Mountain Bear cover…
Mountain Bear ran second with a fractured condular. Glad he didnt go down.

Yeah I know. AOB has plenty of high-profile 2yo's, but Unquestionable is NOT one of them. So the fact he got a 1-2 suggests the opposition was pants
