Assalamualaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu guys, hope you are all doing well, just to let you know this video was taken, edited and scheduled over 2 months ago, so if you see me drink Coca-cola etc... just know this was a long time ago, only reason I am releasing this video now is because I am in my medical exam period which means the majority of my day is gone studying but I still want to always provide you guys with weekly vlogs so that we can all benefit, hence why throughout the year I would make a lot of videos and schedule them early so in the case I ever get busy with Medical school, I can still keep up the weekly uploads and therefore be consistent. This goes with all of my videos, sometimes I record a video and it comes out 6 weeks after it was recorded, or sometimes a video which I took today might come out earlier than a video that I took 3 weeks ago, point being is that the vlogs are not in order lol, so if you see changes in my behaviour between vlogs then know it is due to the fact that the vlogs are from different weeks. Anyway may Allah bless you guys and make dua for my exams as I am behind lol

Praise be to Allah. Firstly: It is permissible for a woman to take part in public chat rooms, if she adheres to the following guidelines: She should only participate as much as is necessary, so she should pose a question or state the topic, then leave, and not comment unless there is a need for that, because the basic principle is that she should avoid speaking to men or mixing with them. There should be nothing in her words that could provoke fitnah (temptation), such as joking, speaking softly, or laughing, such as writing “hahahahahaha”, as mentioned in the question, or using smiley emojis, because that could lead to coveting on the part of those in whose hearts is disease, as Allah, may He be glorified, says (interpretation of the meaning): “O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allah, then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech” [al-Ahzaab 33:32]. She should avoid giving out her email address or corresponding via private messages with any man, even if that is for the purpose of seeking help, because of what such correspondence often leads to of attachment and temptation. See the answers to question no. 34841 . It is preferable and better for a woman to participate only in all-female chat rooms. This is safer for her. There are many such chat rooms, and that is better and sufficient. But if she needs to participate in public chat rooms, then it is better for her to choose a screen name that does not indicate that she is female. And Allah knows best.

What do ya’ll do (people in general), when you’re burned out? I’m a college student and I got to a point where I feel burnt out, despite that I try to entertain myself here and there in order to get recharged, I feel like I’m unchargable now. And I find myself the whole day sitting doing nothing, it’s sad! Allah didn’t give us this time to waste, tell me what to do, how to get back on track. Ps: my uni life is too busy, when I get on track I barely can find to see my parents although we live in the same house! Studying from morning till night, sitting on my desk studying, it got me overwhelmed. I’m not pressure adapted unfortunately, other students bear way more than me but I get burnt out easily…

i think it takes time, really and trully it is about making lots of duah during tahajjud and also throughout the day, increase how much you remmeber Allah and also make sure to eat good healthy foods as that helps with concentrations levels, wake up early so you have more time throughout the day to revise and also pprocrastinate@@Noorrnn

I would suggest, don’t study from morning till night. Instead plan your days so that theyre inclusive of different things, have time for studying and be focused and more productive during those hours, and have time for your deen, obviously your prayers and also maybe reading the Qur’ān and learning something new about Islam, and have time for your parents and family, whether it be having a meal with them, talking to them, serving them and so on.

Best is what worked for me personally was praying Salah on time,reading Qur’an with tafsir...if that mental illness is like depression due to worldly matters or anxiety or stress about future...then remember nothing in this freaking world is worthy of being worried about except "ur connection to Allah Subhanahuwa Ta'Ala " that means just focus on pleasing Allah and leave the worries of this world Hv tawakkul Also when I suffered from trauma and depression, I also fasted on Mondays and Thursday it's Sunnah and it helps alot and also make Dua during iftar time it's gets accepted In sha Allah. Stop using social media too much ( except Islamic lectures) Get a walk in nature,workout atleast 30 minutes, get some sunlight. Say Astaghfirullah as much as possible Try praying tahajjud, see if u are doing any sin stop doing that In sha Allah these will help May Allah heal every Muslim suffering from mental health issues Ameen

I would really recommend reading surah yusuf and surah maryam, even the first few dozens of verses. I was experiencing really bad symptoms with loneliness, anxiety and depression. I was really going through it and surah yusuf and surah mulk and surah maryam, reading the translation and Arabic, it gave me so much peace. No person, no friend or parent gave ne such solace. I was dealing with a lot and quran became my friend/shoulder to lean on. Both happy and good times. I would recommend befriending the Quran al kareem, slowly, step by step. May allaah give yoy shifaa

It’s mandatory for men to pray in the masjid (within reason, this applies to people who live close to the masjid) but it isn’t obligatory for sisters. Sisters shouldn’t be stopped from going to the masjid if they wish to go, but praying in their homes has greater reward for them. Also important to remember is to wear proper hijab when going out. Hope this helps and clears things up
