In all this greatness, it's the outtakes at the end for me! I was NOT expecting that ACTUAL example of black joy! 😂

Talking about giving life. The root is always here for some Black Joy. Even if the subject matter is the opposite they still manage to give me that little bit I need.

Is this sincerely focusing on Black joy or is it a coping mechanism for Black pain? I could easily talk about my joyful times all day long about travel, food, music, etc. And I speak on it. But it would be disingenuous if I only spoke on my joy and not the things that afflicts me as a Black man. You know how folks say let's talk about something else because we can't fix this matter over here. If only cancer operated the same way. Justice is the gate keeper to joy (Ohh I made the quote of the century). Trying to repress it or block it out with joy is not real joy. Speaking on injustice can be miserable and heavy at times. But what bothers us truthfully is we feel we have no means to get justice or simply get ahead even if we make sacrifices. For me real joy and real peace are not separate from justice.

Every time a comment is posted with the word “black” before it - like black joy - needs to be examined. Imagine changing that word “black” with the word “white” and then look at yourselves in the mirror if you heard that coming out of people’s mouths all the time! This is privilege to be able to do that and not get censored or shouted down because of it. Well, I’m calling you black hypocrites out!

N3M3S1S Just remember that it was white racism that made them racist while you're calling things out.....

@@morenazo-ny8bw That’s complete bs and you know it. You lie. All races are AND WERE just as racist as any other race. All are guilty. Some just demonstrate it more these days.
