This was a great panel. It's nice to hear Kristin's perspective on her experience in the industry and on Smallville. Tom and Kristin were definitely the right pick for Clark and Lana. They were magical on screen together, one of the best on screen chemistry I've ever seen! Her best scenes in the series were with Tom! I would love for them to work on another project together. Kristin forgot that Lana had the Talon in the early seasons that was her thing and her drive outside of Clark. And the 100th episode was amazing but so devastating 😭 they gave us everything we wanted then take it ALL back and ended the episode in a tragedy.

I agree completely. Another random observation, but I also loved the relationship between Harry Potter and Hermione Granger, and hated the way that turned out. Maybe it's because I'm a guy but I thought both Clark and Harry were talented bone-heads, and it was Lana and Hermione, respectively, that made it possible for the boys to reach their potential and be successful. The ladies "saved them" and deserved a better resolution than I thought they got. Tom Welling and Daniel Radcliffe did a good job in their roles, but really it was the acting by Kristin Kreuk and Emma Watson that ultimately made their respective shows/films the big hits they became, IMHO.

She's so cute and kind. I love her so much

One more random comment from me: I loved the "quiet intensity" of Lana & Tom's relationship (as played by Kristin and Tom). Their feelings for each other appeared so incredibly natural, unforced, strong and unconditional (not transactional), especially during those "quiet intense" moments when their eyes did most of the talking. They didn't need to dress, talk or act sexy. They didn't need the story's drama to drive them together. I thought they nailed their performances perfectly--much better than most, more experienced romantic leads in other shows/films I've seen.

Lol you made the same mistake as Kristin by saying "Lana & Tom" instead of Lana and Clark's relationship. But I couldn't agree more with your comment, they had such a natural and intense chemistry that made Clana's love feel real and deep. Tom and Kristin had a really great connection and you could tell that they were really listening and paying attention to each other in scenes together. They also mastered the art of doing these quiet intense moments together, always so beautifully done by them.

God that was such a good show and KK was so hot in it...

I, of course, believe she is stunningly beautiful. But what a treat it would be just to hang out and talk with her every day. She seems to have such an intelligent, but also emotionally giving, personality. I think it would be pretty amazing just to hear more from her! More videos of her like this one (or even ones having nothing to do with Smallville) would certainly be welcome.

Why do people always say these things about celebrities. She's just being civil and smiling in public, she might be a very unpleasant person? In fact, I've heard her say very derogatory and condescending things about certain people, particularly religious people who she has UTTER contempt for....but she's got all the respect and time in the world for people that are being lifted up in popular culture at any given time. She comes across as intelligent but she really isn't. She absolutely crapped her pants during covid when she, as a healthy woman in late 30s, had almost ZERO chance of dying from, she insults people who have beliefs she knows NOTHING about... She is just a normal, media fed Canadian who, (as far as I can tell) has never had an original thought in her life. Sorry for the rant, but I spent a whole evening once , reading and watching interviews and posts she made over the years because I also thought she seemed interesting and intelligent but the more I dug the more I could see that there is nothing to see. A typical atheistic, sanctimonious upper class Canadian woman. So why watch this interview you may ask, simple, she talks about smallville lol

The panels without Michael and Tom are so much better. Even tho she's right she has privilege of a great life and not worrying about bills. I think the big thing is she isn't married and have kids lol... I love my husband and 3 kids but they stress me out so much and have definitely aged me A LOT whereas Kristin doesn't have to deal with all that tension and stress like all other Mom's out there. Man I envy Kristin lol, kinda wish I could live her life.

If there's a way to say attention-seeking but in a respectful and positive way, that is Michael. His bloopers from the show are exactly the same. He's just a fun guy. One of those people one can be glad he's not somewhere but he is equally the first one everyone misses first wishes was around 99% of the time, I bet.

Always love Kristin. Not just for her beauty, but her charm and intelligence as well. Love hearing her perspective on the series Smallville, her getting to bond more with the other cast more now. And her experiences with continuing to go to the cons. I've certainly appreciated that she has done them much more in recent years. Actually got to see her very recently myself, along with Michael and Tom at the FanExpo Philadelphia convention this past June. Was such a wonderful experience overall.😀😀

Kristin spoke about it before how the female characters got hate in fandom just because of the shipping wars over who really deserved to end up with Clark. Aside from all that, she can hold her head high about her portrayal of Lana Lang - even when getting shoved into damsel in distress storylines every other episode, Lana got outstanding character development over the course of the series for what was supposed to be just a layover love interest for Clark before Lois stepped in. Quite honestly, I always hoped her smallville incarnation would become a crossover into the mainstream comic storylines.

I absolutely adore Kristin Kreuk! Ever since I saw her in Smallville, that did it for me. Kristin is amazing! I also loved her in Beauty And The Beast, and Burdon Of Truth! Her background is similar to mine. She is Dutch-Chinese mix, and her Chines mother lived in Indonesia For a time. I am Dutch-Indonesian mix, and was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, and also lived in Holland for 5 years, before we moved to California. I will always adore Kristin. She is such a strong, talented, beautiful woman! I also loved her in Chun-Li! Her martial arts skills are very good, which I admire, being a black belt myself. I will always adore her! She such an amazing person! 😍😍😍❤❤❤

I loved the whole interview, but the last question/answer was the best because I love both Jensen Ackles and Tom Welling. Tom was meant to be Clark and Jensen was meant to be Jason Teague which put him in the position to be on Supernatural. It's funny because he tested for Clark and got Jason later in season 4 and when he got Supernatural script for Sam Winchester but decided he wanted the be Dean. It all worked out for the best. Kristin Kreuk is just amazing. The show came out when I started college. I have since rewatched it several times especially when it went into syndication on ABC Family (Freeform) and TNT.

I’m watching beauty and the beast now I’m loving it.

Love kristin and these interviews because we can see who the character is in real life, in real time. I can tell she has a caring, loving heart for all and she speaks well and is such a positive person. I want to thank her and all involved with the show they gave us some amazing acting, a good story that kept us guessing, on the end of our chairs and tearing up with heartfelt moments. This single dad appreciated most that y'all gave me and my daughter more moments in time to make memories for years as my daughter was growing up. You had us in tears, laughter, loving the caring heart felt moments as we ate our pop corn and some candy and talk about about happenings in the show. You do add value to others lives. Thank you Kristin and Geektown for this awesome interview with Kristin. I hope that Geektown will share this note with you.

Homie shouldn’t have asked the “youthful looks” question. Not that he was rude about it, but nowadays it’s better to just not approach that subject - particularly coming from a guy. Plus Kristen has gotten that for literally 2 and a half decades now. That said, it is wild. Like, her and Paul Rudd are the two where it really was hard to notice aging.
