Rebecca, I wanted to share my thoughts about Daystar and how my connection with the network has changed over time. Initially, what drew me to Daystar were interviews like this one with Pastors Jonathan and Adalis. They resonated with me deeply and helped me connect with the programming on a personal level. However, things have shifted for me, and it all stems from the loss of your beloved dad, Marcus. I can't stress enough how much I admired him for his unwavering love for God. In fact, my teenage son even included him among other remarkable men in his upcoming book, titled "The Great Dads." Now, when I look at Daystar and your mom, Joni's "Ministry Now" program, I can't help but feel that something has been lost. It seems like the content has become lacking and, in my opinion, it has strayed from the path that originally captivated me. The inclusion of Doug Weiss is something I strongly disagree with. From my perspective, he doesn't belong there, as I don't believe he aligns with the dreams and vision that God had for Marcus. The changes have had a profound impact on my viewership habits. I used to watch Daystar religiously when Marcus was alive and before inclusion of Doug Weiss but since this man, Doug stepped his feet into Daystar as a cohost with Joni, I find myself disconnected. In fact, I've stopped watching Daystar altogether, and I know many others who share this sentiment. I can't help but wonder about all those individuals who spoke during the lockdown. Their voices were powerful and resonated deeply with the audience. It seems like their presence has faded, leaving a void in the programming that I, and many others, cherished. It more saddening that with all that's happening or all the agitations in the health sector, Joni has kept mute! Rebecca, I share these thoughts with the hope that Daystar can regain some of its previous magic, the magic that drew so many of us in during the time when Marcus was with us.
