The word genius gets banded round far too much but I think that it applies to Thom Yorke. Whether it is his solo stuff, Radiohead, Atoms for Peace, The Smile or the plethora of other side projects - the music he has produced over the last thirty years is truly awe inspiring

Thom has an amazing voice and even better songwriting. Ok Computer is one of the alltime great albums that you should definitely do a reaction to at some point!

@@moonillusions832 Yeah, I agree. I suggested Ok Computer because it's their most "essential" album and probably has the greatest spot in music history out of their work, but Kid A and In Rainbows are just as good, maybe even better.

@@TechnicalHotDog Agreed, whilst many have OK Computer as the greatest album of all time and this is not an opinion i will ever correct, it is actually only the 3rd best Radiohead album. OK Computer is the best album of the 90's though and that was a fairly decent decade for music. Only Pablo Honey is an album i wouldn't recommend, as they are better grunge type albums from that era that are more worth your time. I would though recommend to Radiohead fans that anyone disappointed with King of Limbs on initial listens, to go back to that album again, as i think it was very under-appreciated and underrated. Also for me, A Moon Shaped Pool was incredible and felt like a glorious movie soundtrack from beginning to end and a real complete start to finish listen. Amnesiac also under-rated due to it's more famous twin Kid A and Hail to the Thief whilst not being a great start to finish album compared to the others, has some great songs on it. For me In Rainbows as number 1, Kid A as number 2, but i have changed my mind before and will again, probably the next time i hear Morning Bell, Motion Picture Soundtrack, How to Disappear Completely, Everything in it's Right Place or Optimistic - definitely 5 of the best 20 Radiohead songs, unless I'm an Idioteque! I read about James Webb and Parallel Universes this morning, but until they prove everyone has a Radiohead in it, I'm just not interested.

For me it's amazing seeing people older than me that doesn't know who Thom Yorke is, I thought it was impossible for millennials lol Now, if you like it, you'll have a lot of rich material to explore! what a cool thing. Great reaction!

Thom is the front-man for the band "Radiohead" - a deep dive of 9 albums of complete greatness - but Thom has several similarly beautiful solo piano pieces - I'd recommend checking out "Ingenue" Live from Jonathan Ross (it is a lesson in incredible controlled use falsetto and is just almost painfully - in a good emotional release way - beautiful) as well as a super cool performance "Analyze" live from Henry Rollins and lastly "Thom Yorke "From the Basement - 4 Songs". He has so many amazing piano songs with Radiohead but he is also an incredible rhythm guitarist so you can really have a blast watching Thom Yorke solo vids - for guitar I'd start with Thom Yorke solo Live "Street Spirit" Acoustic. Thanks for the thoughtful and fun reaction!
