2:27 the way she tries to jump that hurdle while falling shows extreme focus and commitment to her sport...I salute her courage.

No, if she was focused, she wouldn't have fallen into the damn hurdle. All she did was demonstrate how NOT to do it. 🤣

It was probably automatic. See jump, leg goes up.
Jumping over hurdles isn't easy, sometimes your legs say "nope, not today". 🤣
1:55 this could be the nicest rack in pole vault history hiding behind that sports top!
At 3:05, girl switched from pole vault to javelin throw 😅
I ran hurdles in high school and one time the wind was blowing so hard they had to turn the hurdles around the wrong way to keep them from blowing over. The board on the top was bolted with two bolts per end with the stud ends sticking out the back. But, this time they were facing me and sure enough I dragged my trailing leg just a bit too low and snagged the top bolt! The hurdle didn't fall, it tumbled with me entangled in it! I had a 4 inch gash in my knee and couldn't finish the track season! That was in 1970 and I still have the scar today!

Whoever did that didn't know hurdles and should have been fired. And all the runners should have refused to run because that will always end poorly.

@@arodyanksfan It was a small rural school and the head coach was also a deputy sheriff. No one even thought about firing or even reprimanding him. We were lucky if the town doctor showed up at our games or events, because we had no medical staff or experienced coaches. Our school was so small that we didn't have enough players for an offense and a defense both on the football team. So, some of us played both. I played guard on offense and middle linebacker on defense. Anyone who "tried out" for any of our sports got in. No one was turned away, because we just didn't have many students. My graduating class was only 43 students.
Goodness. These are top athletes that work so very hard all year round! I would prefer the title to be "Unfortunate Moments" -- and not using WTF at all.

I know they can be seriously hurt but DAANNG that was the most hilarious 😅😆 at 1:18 and then at 2:32 . That Swiss runner was just desperately trying to recover trying to somehow get it together 😂 but no way
Hello, men of culture. We're here together again today to lament for some unlucky female athletes.

That flailing arms ploy at the finish line should be banned. She nearly tripped up the runner behind her. It’s desperate and dangerous.

The gentleman in the final scene who misses the hurdle then climbs over and finishes has sand.
WTF? More like: Oops!
3:10 i hope this woman doesn't mistake javelin throwing for pole vaulting when it's the other way around. The result would probably not be broadcastable.
Hi, they to press automatic bottom and lose the consentration.
At 2:04 we switch to MEN'S sports for some stupid reason.

There is easier ways to have fun.
My first grade school track meet ever and I tied for first in the boys high jump. The next year I grew a bunch, couldn't adjust my run-up, hit the stanchions so many times I developed a mind block. Tried it again a couple of times in high school but couldn't get over it. Did six other events in high school so not the end.

Dutch athlete Femke Bol is now three times european champion …so she is allright …
So couple things. First, two of those clips weren't even of women's sports, they were men's. Second, other than the runners, who did trip by accident, I'm fairly certain all but one of the pole vaulters were intentional bails after realizing their timing or momentum was wrong.

Why are there two men's races (2:00 and 3:55) in a video titled "Unlucky WTF Moments in Women's Athletics"?
Wtf men doing here in this video😂😂😂
else that piece there 1:54 disturbs a woman to much i guess. did she she then jump over that bar ?
2:01 and 3:56 sure are some different type of women!
I am pretty sure the last clip is men not women.
Some of those women looked uncannily like men
A couple of these events were not women's events... Did that escape the attention of the presenter?
Women’s bodies are just not designed to do this kind of sports
Perhaps, but I would rather say, this unluckiness is more showing their perfection itself seeing that they must've trained themselves the highest level, and they prepared themselves to their perfect result. That's it. I even see it like an additional dialogue to actors. Like that.
What is the reason some of them have coloured tape on their bodies

half of her legs are still inside 99.5m mark. she did not complete the 100m. the black woman shoukd be declare winner. Diving forward instead of running is cheating .
@clintonbass2740

It was a 400m run, she was fatigued and leaning in a race is what everyone does that’s not cheating. Falling while leaning when tired isn’t uncommon.
@nikkibabiera3531

1:05 if you are talking about that, the chest is the one that counts. When your chest crosses the line you have finished already. You can see track athletes put out their chests when doing finish line when they are neck to neck with others.
@paulbacon517
Жыл бұрын
I know very little about track and field so pardon my ignorance I was just thinking if it were a horse race, isn't it the nose crossing the finish line that counts? I can understand the front of your chest crossing the line if you are in an upright position but she was sprawled out. If the runner leapt into the air like a long jumper would the feet crossing the line constitute a finish?
2 of these were men events, unless some women's teams are taking doping to another level.
