As you can imagine we love Love LOOVVVVEEE when two pedal companies collaborate! The whole is always greater than the sum of its parts and in the case of Time Shadow II, the brilliant minds at @EarthQuakerDevices and @deathbyaudioeffects teamed up to make the second iteration of this wild pitch shifting synthy delay!
There are 3 modes. One entirely EQD. One entirely DBA. Then there’s the third, a quirky brain love child of the two. Totally different, but totally fits!
Come explore with us as we dial around the knobs and see what sounds we can discover. What does it sound like pushed with more gain? What does it sound like using an @oldbloodnoise Expression Ramper X3??

@@thepedalcollaborative I think the EQD and DBA sides would both complement each other well in a recording. Both have hidden gems. The middle setting can go to hell 😂

@scattystormborn 🤣 yeah I haven’t found a middle setting I’m in love with yet. Kinda reminds me of the modes on the Count to 5 I don’t like 🤣 The other sides though are well worth it! Will I get another? 🤔

I have got mine yesterday.... You had some steel drum sounds going at one point....! The volume output on this pedal is boosted, and makes my chain crackle (overdriven).... The the pedal settings alone vary greatly in volume when messing with it.... It greatly needs both a volume mix knob, so at least you could even out the volume differences for a live setting - by saving the settings in a preset.... Some of them get DAMN LOUD....! There is a LOT of noise and intersting sound effects from this pedal, but I am personally struggling to find an actual use for it musically.... Ooooooo....! The last sound you stumbled on showed some good promise....! Good video.... ❤

This will not fit the vibe of my 80s covers band! Still fascinating. Not sure what repertoire suits that whole tone up and down pitch shifter.... Will it bass is another thing? Quite synthy in a very nice way

Yeah I love the synthy EQD side! I also really like the DBA delay. That middle side is definitely cool but would need some specific applications for me. Still a fantastic pedal
