Tag, this game is great. This is my next RDR2. I put in hundreds for hours in that game and I'm sure I'll do the same with this one. Keep up the great streams. I love watching you be a Viking especially when you do the spider Viking moves. How about some Franklin the arrow merch?? hehe :)

In the 1st cave you go to you do not fight grandal You will fight his mother in it you will fight grandal in a church and that is part of the Beowulf saga. And that shadowy dark misty stuff you was going through is part of a curse item you have to destroy to stop that not part of grandal

I actually like that power level is determined by our skill not gear. Having better fishing gear doesn't instinctively make someone a better fisher

@@inyourgrillbrunson9575 Natural exploration, think Dragon's Dogma, Skyrim or Oblivion, enemies are rarely too high a level by default so you can freely explore, however, some more powerful enemies are a higher level with an indicator. No level gating and you'll know which enemies are too high of a level for you. So regular soldiers aren't way stronger than you because you went down the wrong block but elite soldiers will always be difficult regardless, until you level up way above their level.

@@ieajackson5518 When a region on the map has a level requirement it's called level gating, it limits exploration by discouraging players from going to certain regions too early.

Hey I found out if you use the incendiary fire trap arrow ability on breakable walls it explodes them you dont need barrels or vases

@TagBackTV - if you use your heavy swing when you do a large leap or fall, you don't take fall damage. Also, there is an ability to unlock that will negate any fall damage completely, no matter the height or anything, you just roll out of it...Because, video games...

That slow time on dodge skill is nice asf, need to find that and aquire lol...along with that ranged ability...and those daggers

Good help your videos did you mod your map?

You probably know by now, but in case you don’t you can put multiple save points on the map.

Love the videos and the non-stop dad jokes as you're going along. One pro-tip if you like using bows. Get one of each bow maxed out; you can swap them out in the middle of a fight when you run out of arrows. If you start the fight with "sniper" bow while stealth you'll get an opener for a ton of damage. The medium bow is great during the early phases of a fight because it still hit hard and is plenty for hitting those weak points for more bit hits. Once you're out of those arrows switch to the light bow for the last phase of a fight as the quick shots work better as an interrupt. Keep up the great work.

This is a good strategy, but can you swap out your weapons with a quick slot or something? Or do I have to pause the fight and then go into my inventory then equip them and continue? Because if so then its not a great strategy immersion wise haha

@@two-shotlaowai6777 Immersion wise it's not definitely not ideal, since we no longer have quick swap slots. Playing on PC though it takes 2 seconds to swap weapons mid-fight. Just realised that I'm really missing the ability to craft my own arrows in Valhalla. Devs probably made that change to balance out the fact that arrows hit so much harder in this game.

First time i was in that cavern, i had a " key " symbol down there where the cursed object was, beside the body. But when i approached it. it didn´t pick up. And second time i was there, the key symbol didn´t appear at all. Weird.

1:24:00 clearly tag never learned anything from Legend of Zelda XD

It's limited but you can change your horse skin and your horse before you buy your horse stables there's a couple towns with Stables one is the falling Gates there should be a stable there that you can change your horse and you can change your bird there I did and I don't even have a horse stable yet

You know the perk that allows you to dual weld heavy weapons image using 2 Excaliburs in combat

cant seem to do well with this sword when fighting mobs with large shields. ill parry and counter, but the sword seems to sluggish to actually land a hit with before they put shields back up

Greatsword and Heavy Shield is the way to go. It has long reach, and if you pick up the swapping skill you can use the greatsword to charge in and then beat people to death with the shield

AC Odyssey map is 256 square kilometers, the England portion of Valhalla is 120 square kilometers. If you add all the maps of Valhalla together it is bigger than Oddysey but just comparing those 2 maps..Odyssey is much bigger

Missile reversal in the Raven tree (yellow). I'm a power 250 but unlocked it early and was beating zealots 100+ power above me just using that lol

Grendel has nothing to do with excalibur that particular letter relates to the Beowulf quest

Those of us that have loved usually take our time. I spent 700 plus hours with Odyssey and finished Valhalla at 381 hours. Of course I but everything from the animus store and have the find absolutely everything. A rushed experience will take 80-100, but why would anyone want to rush?

I have actually lived in Winchester. At the bottom of the City is a large statue of King Alfred the Great. There is.a lot in this map which is so much NOT accurate to the real city. Yes, they bishop residence is opposite the Cathedral, at the last remaining decedent from the Scribes of the King James Bible lived in those Bishops Residence. She would have passed away now, as that was 20 years ago.

The ranged is called missel reversal and is located in raven portion straight down from center and the slow time is called brush with death and is located straight left of center
