Before launching ESGTree, Majid worked in the Sustainable Development and Impact Investing space in over 20 countries and managed social impact projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Through this time working in policy, consulting and technology, he observed certain trends, risks, and opportunities in the ESG and impact and investing space. This culminates in his talk on how integrating ESG today is essential for doing business tomorrow. Majid is the Co-Founder and CEO of ESGTree, a technology platform which helps financial institutions and investors manage their environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance. In April 2022, LinkedIn News named Majid as one of the 'Top 15 Voices for the Green Economy' in the US & Canada. He is a sustainability executive and doctoral researcher with over 12 years of ESG and a former Board Member of the Canada Forum for Impact Investment and Development (CAFIID).     BLACKROCK created ESG BUD LIGHT DISNEY TARGET ... just 3 examples of 3 companies that KILLED THEIR PROFITS for a better ESG SCORE 🤣🤣

    I hate it when people use good concepts like taking care of the environment to attempt to remove our freedom. Stick with philanthropy…you don’t need control, just charity.

    Its a global pact that the founders of are trying to mandate on every and all businesses. It is extremely bad and its scam. Unfortunately banks are starting base lending on a businesses ESG credit score rather than the actually credit score based on financial strength. Is a scam just like the whole climate change bs.

    Who are the decision makers regarding the score? It is open to corruptibility and politicalization. Transparency about corporate activity is important and should be done by an objective media. Not crowned elites.
