The attention to detail is great. The reapers were on carts. Looks like an amazing time, glad to see that VS is still pumping out fun content.

I know we frustrate you with our limited interest in other games, Dex. But nothing else is even slightly as deep, as broad, or as flat-out mad as VS. That's why we love it. Not because it's a bullet heaven, but because it is wild. I'm sure we'd watch equally wild things in other subgenres.

well it is a public beta build and thsoe will have bugs. so dex you got to report thsie bugs to the devs so they can fix them sooner or later.

I just had this strange tho about something in new helpful stage hazard (the Train. Used in the Labatory) must have been made in preparation for a character who would use said train as an attack… as why make a new assets when you could’ve just used a Larger version of the Minecart found in the Dairy Plant stage. Now my thought is that it must be preparation for a Touhou Crossover as in Touhou there’s this character named Yukari. And in the fighting games her most well know attack is “Journey to the Abandoned Station” which involves her launching a train at her foes… so my theory is that after Operation Guns were getting a Touhou based DLC

I’m hoping it’s a new weapon as the last two helpful stage hazards and their assists used in weapons… the minecarts are obvious and the Upgraded Pentagram’s initial attack is the shattered windows of the cathedral stage

I’m also hoping it was made for a Touhou DLC as that gives me an excuse to blast Night Falls~ Evening Star as I unleash explosive chaos in Vampire Survivors (cause yes Journey to the Abandoned Station ends with the train exploding)

For anyone who doesn't realize what's going on, the stage has you do laps. Every lap you teleport back to the left side and do another lap. That's why the chests keep moving ... they're actually staying still but you're either zooming by or starting a new lap.

It was a bug that got fixed that going left would still make them teleport. Nowadays you could go left and get them

@@DexTag Perhaps there were issue for sure, but having just played it I do not believe you can make any leftward progress on the chest as you're always moving right ... holding left will slow you down massively which can help snag the chests on a future lap tho. The only exception is the coffin, which I believe you're not moving left towards ... its just moving right towards you and you're slowing down to have it catch up. Or so it seems

This is only on the beta branch right now. People think it'll go live at about the same time as the Contra DLC.

I don't have this in my game wtf how.
