    So much good info in this one. I have received all this information and practiced much of this. Watching this video I have the sense I watched it before but it just came out. I have found through sitting in meditation for large parts of a the day in a clear state then coming back as an observer of myself in that state to be one of the most powerful tools.

    Jesus says some fascinating things about fasting in the Gospel of Thomas. He also says in Mark 9:29 that evil spirits are cast out by prayer and fasting, though I think the Gospel of Thomas provides more context on the nature of fasting, which seems similar to the Vedic concept of unnattachment, or renunciation. Also in Mark chapter 9, Jesus says something enigmatic about it being better to enter the kingdom of heaven with a single eye, and some Christian mystics believe this is a reference to the pineal gland or thalamus, or the cave of Brahman idk lol. I actually started intermittent fasting for health, but it changed my meditation practice so much for the better that I started to question my own atheistic beliefs. I started researching Zoroastrianism, mystery schools, and using mantras. I will say it actually made me a believer, albeit agnostic. Fasting for health is a great idea, but you have to clean up your diet or you’ll crash really hard if you binge on sugar and bad fats. Good nutrition for intermittent fasting(time-restricted eating) should include plenty of healthy fats; vegetables and fruits, moderate protein and little to no highly processed foods. Also, steer clear of crops that herbicides are used on, as much as you can help it.

    @@PathologicallyPositive did you manage to activate your pineal?

  • @PathologicallyPositive

    @PathologicallyPositive

    9 ай бұрын

    @@mochachinolatte4397 the closest thing I can describe to activating my pineal, based on what I’ve heard from someone else’s description of pineal gland activation, actually occurred during a lucid dream after I had started practicing fasting and mantra. Honestly I never thought of these things as connected really until you asked, but maybe they are. I chose to meditate in a lucid dream, instead of trying to fly or have sex. The dreamscape had changed suddenly when I first became lucid, as it tends to do, but I was able to retain awareness that it was a dream, and as I laughed the whole sky laughed with me like the dreamscape was just playing with me. I chose to meditate and immediately it was like my consciousness was in a tornado of colors and I felt intense bliss, but it was very brief. I came back to my body in the dream laying on my back, as I started to act like I was just dreaming back in same dreamscape someone approached me, as soon as I recognized it was my dead friend, he came up to me and embraced me. I woke up crying, and that dream changed my personal belief in the existence of an afterlife, though I still don’t understand it. I know it could have just been a product of my imagination but it was the first of many dreams that have changed my worldview or belief in a spiritual reality. Lucid dreaming is tough though, it helped me with the dull; repetitive nightmares I used to have, but I’ve had more sleep paralysis and more confrontational negative experiences in my dreams. I will evoke benevolent energy or use mantra or prayer now if I feel attacked in a dream. Have you read the Bhagavad Gita?

Of course with this path of reaching what I simply call becoming Agape, the psychic abilities simply awaken..

    Can you explain why we as humans created money and does it exist outside of this situation?

  • @uriahpeep9008

    @uriahpeep9008

    5 ай бұрын

    Why money was created? To facilitate trade rather than having to "barter" for goods and services. As society became more organized, some kind of medium was necessary for the exchange of goods/services. The medium would have to have some intrinsic value in and of itself and be accepted by the entire society. The first money medium was metal......silver and later on gold. This medium was used until the idea of fiat (paper currency) was developed to further enable the settlement of trade contracts. The fiat currency (paper) has value because it is backed by the taxing power of the nation that uses it. The value of a currency can either fall or rise in value, depending on the credibility of the nation that is issuing the currency. Nations that have stable governments and strong economies always have strong currencies that are accepted by all who are in the worldwide marketplace. A complete discussion of this subject would consume many volumes.
