This video has helped me twice with getting Google Play Appstore on both of my Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet and my mom's Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet! She loves that it is super easy in comparison to setting up the Amazon Photos app to sync all of your photos (that's was easy too but the customer service representative we talked to was mumbling and we had to ask him to repeat himself a lot.)

Can you help with signing in process? Everything worked fine at first until I started getting a sign in again notification, and then when I open it it tries to update Google Play services and I get an error message. Can download apps but cannot actually sign into them or in Play store.

First of all, love your account name 👌🏼 But yes, you’ll need to download all the drivers for it to work properly. Just downloading the play store app itself won’t allow it to work properly. Think of it like downloading the skeleton and muscles for the body. The body (the play store) needs the skeleton and muscles (the other apks) to function. Nice! Snapchat is a great first app. I still can’t believe how bad the Amazon App Store is haha

Will these older files work on the Kindle Fire 7 (12th generation)? I just bought the newest Fire, and I've been trying various tutorials to get the Google Play store. None of them seem to work. I get the icon, click on it, and nothing happens. Sadness.

Hey Adam! I haven't had the opportunity to try it out on a 12th gen. I know there are constantly new updates made to the files you need to download to do this tutorial. I do know of people with 11th gen tablets that had success following this same process. Wish I could help more!

Hi, does the play store need re downloading/updated via android police as later versions are available? When apps within the play store have an update, will they be readily available as they would with android devices or is there a delay as this play store is not native? Thank you

Hey Luke! As far as I have experienced so far, I haven't needed to update or re-download the google play store. As for updates for apps, the same thing goes as well. Things so far have been working fine for me as if the playstore is native. So, so far so good! Thanks for commenting!

I got it installed and it's opening but when I go to download an app the app stays in pending... can anyone help? I've looked at download setting s and it can download on wifi and data (which the fire doesn't have data but does wifi) also tried clearing cache and restarting device.

Hey Tasha! The 11th generation is pretty new. The link used to download the content lists the current generations the content is meant for. While right now the highest listed is the 10th generation, I'm sure they will update the information fairly soon so that the 11th generation is included. I have also reached out to the blog author for you, to confirm that 11th generation tablets will work. THAT BEING SAID! I HAVE seen others on KZread follow this process with their 11th generation tablets and have had NO ISSUES in the process. They just followed the same process as if their tablets were the 10th generation. Hope that helps and good luck!

You left out one very important part Google does not support or verify it as a authentic google play store. You could get hack or your google count taken away by google.

I was worried about that too, but I just paused him at every step & did each one and then hit play till the next step and it worked like a charm!
