I'm going to run up to my sewing room and dig into the bag of my late Mother's clothes to make 5" squares. The pattern is unique and versatile and pieces of her often worn dresses will make it a memory quilt that I will always enjoy. There should be enough material to make quilts for my siblings - all the same fabrics with different arrangements. This is just the pattern I've been needing. Thank you, April!

Great idea!

Oooo... what if you had twins or knew somebody with twins, you could buy a layer cake, cut it into 5" squares. Make two quilts. Each with a different pattern design. And walah! Same fabrics but different pattern, just like them; they look similar but are different. Two or three sisters/two or three brothers sharing one room. Endless possibilities. Thank you for sharing. And like you, I would not trim them much either. Take care and blessings to y'all.

I guessed wrong! I thought you would choose the last pattern, just because it was ready to sew! I loved all the different layouts. And the colors are striking in this. Lots of ideas with this pattern. Thanks for all the videos. I love the patterns you choose. I really need to use up my stash. I have more fabric than I can use in my lifetime! They need to be fast to make, not complicated. This pattern is perfect!

I had to watch this video a couple times…it’s sooooo pretty Miss April. Love love love the lattice look. Had to laugh at your choice of T-shirt today. I swear I said that 5 times before 9 am yesterday! People are driving me crazy this week…they’re impeding on my sewing time 😜! I will have to try this block this weekend.
