Jokes on you if you still can't get high-demand electronics online at MSRP. It was cake to get this stuff at the height of the chip shortage as long as you subscribed to online stock notifiers and were willing to buy within a few seconds notice (using a bot really helps too). Unfortunately that method is used by scalpers, who you must admit, have a proven method of getting high-demand electronics easily and in large numbers from anywhere in the world. You would think the average person would be jumping on to using these methods with how extremely easy and convenient they are. Yet we still have dumbasses waiting in front of stores that get a handful of stock and so you waste your time standing around with a bunch of halfwit scalpers that haven't figured out how to use a computer yet to source their products. lmfao.

So over here in Germany, a few weeks ago, I went to a tech store and saw a Ryzen 9 5950x there, and I was starring at that thing like it was a blessing from God or something. Few days later my friend went to the same store and saw a white Asus 3060. He then told me it was immediately bought. This has to be the worst feeling when that thing is right in front of you and you know you can't just take it home.

What happens is the employees working there know when they get a new shipment in of GPUs or CPUs, so those employees text their friends, who then show up at opening to snatch all the new product and resell it. People think MicroCenter is 'fair', but it's not....their employees are basically commiting espionage.

I am only 30 seconds in and already know they will likely have a bunch of GPUs for him to choose from. To be fully accurate they should have none.

@@cup_and_cone It’s really a slap in the face.They rather give away GPU’s to a guy that has dozens laying around instead of people that really need them.

This is exactly why I order all my stuff online from Newegg or Amazon, well that and I don't live near a Microcenter closest one is 1.5 hours away

i love that kyle still feels that excitement after all the systems he's built. very much a kid in a candy store vibe, I love it.

Damn Jay gets a budget cap, Kyle gets the m.c black card lol.

There is only one rule that must always be observed: if there is a white 3090, you must take it, no matter what! I like that you did go with reasonable power. 850W are more than enough for a 5950 and 3090. But the system could have used a second SSD.. :o
