Interesting and perhaps material for another video. I was watching a Ben Hogan documentary and they interviewed a guy who was a caddy with Hogan at Glen Garden. He said during the caddy contests for longest drive, and BEFORE Hogan was adept at golf, Ben would RUN at the ball in an effort to hit it longer . (I guess ala Happy Gilmore) Now, connect that with Hogan's later explanation of his successful swing....."it felt as if I was running at the ball". He was doing a drill of sorts .... and not knowing it....with this actual running at the ball. The feel became integral to his final swing development. nteresting.

Great stuff, saw slomo face on of Scheffler and he shifts his left hip an enormous amount and not only drags the rear foot but has a late L leg rotation so he has what we call a bowlers rear foot drag behind to balance that out

When you start the downswing with your hips would you describe the move as more of a slide or a turn back from the rotation on the backswing? Just read Hogans book on the fundamentals and have been trying to focus on this in my practice. Thank you and love the channel.

It’s more of a drift and turn.

Christo, your swing is good, but if you raise your hands higher at the top, you will hit the ball higher, longer, and straighter, like Jack. His hands are the highest in history. To me, it is THE key to his great success, along with his great putting of course. After 10 swings with the driver, you will have it. Your hands should cross halfway between your neck and your right shoulder. I'm a golf pro. I know what I'm talking about. Try it, let me know what happens.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll try it for sure. After years of being so flat it’s hard for me!

You're not lifting your left heel on your iron swings.
