Much more recently updated as well - multiman wasn't showing the 'create ISO' option with any discs, even in Multiman mode on Evilnat 4.90. Switched over Irisman, problem eradicated. Serves me right for using software that hasn't been updated in nearly 5 years.

It's really not. They all do the same thing, just different interfaces. With a super slim there's PS2 related things that are different but not much. He can't do a video without giving it a clickbaity title and his narrative style got old a long time ago. I get why he's doing it, but it really does come off like he's assuming anyone watching the video is slow. He can explain it in a detailed manner without sounding like the person watching is an idiot.

I don’t even use MM, it’s bloated. Installed PKG file games and ISO loading with NTFS accessible on the XMB via WebMAN mod. No need for other managers imo.

ty so much !! i was cracking my head open in the wall with multiman (no copy options there) so didatic now i just need to find a way to cool down my ps3 .. if i manage that, then i can just put the ps2 to rest for a while lol, and play everything on ps3

at 12:19 you seem to skip a step with regards to where to copy the game files over to... I've done all the steps you provided but none of my PSX bin/cue format games work. Any ideas? I click on them and the screen just flashes.

Is there by any chance a cfw or homebrew with something like the priiloader from the wii? To say that in a less jargeny way the thing I'd really love for the PS3 is a homebrew that just opens to the game library of totally legal backups.

what situation? nintendo 3ds online play will shutdown on april i think 11, after that there will be no way to play online legally anymore, neither redownload your previously purchased content software or DLC, only pokemon bank will work for the close future, from then the alternate online community pretendo will take over the main online multiplayer games like mario kart 7,customs, probably smash 4 3ds.

isn't WebMan + small home server for ISO library better to use? The guide for Complete PS1\PS2\PS3\PSP games with WebMan would be ausome for next video) I persanally use multiman and for this period it its enough for me)

Ive always had mm i also have webman mod just for xmb but sometimes not all my ps1 iso's show up on webman mod.I also use this one for ntfs since mitliman for some reason will not read it

They're both similar and have the free store. But CFW is better imo, I'd only use Hen if my compatible model can't support CFW (such as the Super Slim). Hen requires enabling the jailbreak after every boot (which can sometimes freeze the system) and it can't run PSP games, PS2 also games have to be converted for them to be playable too

Be sure to use the exact folder naming system and folder structure from the video. PS3ISO, PS2ISO, PSXISO, and PSPISO. IRISMAN doesn't natively create these folders so you'll have to build them manually.

The PS3 is a powerhouse thanks to people who have found out how to do awesome stuff.

Agree! You know, two things it can do very well that are rarely mentioned are the ability to play 1080p movie files and music files in FLAC lossless format over HDMI. That's extraordinary for a console getting ready to hit 20 years old. Such a wonderfully engineered piece of kit, that PS3. :)

Sir, you forgot to show how to save our progress on psp games.

I try to rip and play GTA SA PS2 using MultiMan and Irisman and after the PS2 logo displays the PS3 just shuts off and the power button blinks red. Any solutions?

I go to select any game in the Irisman menu, and all I get is a mere blink on the screen. The game will not activate. Is this program designed specifically for NTFS files? I use Linux and use only FAT32. Thanks in advance.

Okay maybe you yourself can help me or someone else I've been wanting to hack my PS3 for a little while now but the problem is I have the super slim model the one with the sliding top and at least from what I've seen online as of right now I believe that model in particular is still on hackable I believe you can hack the other ones except for that one last time I checked. So if I'm wrong and if there is a way to hack the super slim model that I'm not aware of please let me know or point me in the direction of the video that will tell me or if you have not made one yet please do so.

Thanks! Well, it's hard even for me to wrap my head around, but the PS3 is nearly 20 years old now. Wow! Because of that, though, it uses, by today's standards, fairly slow USB and internet speeds. Some of the PS3 games are super large, and they'll take quite a while to transfer over. If only there was a way to turbocharge it all... :)

Yes they work but you need to convert them for HEN. Easiest way to do it, dump the PS2 ISO as you normally would, install Apollo Save Tool & PS2 Placeholder ISO Launcher, run Apollo Save Tool and go to User Tools > Encrypt PS2 ISO to BIN.ENC near the bottom and click the PS2 ISO you dumped, should take some minutes but then you'll be able to run the game, then use PS2 Placeholder ISO Launcher to run it. Not all PS2 games are compatible to begin with, so look up the games you wanna play to see if they'll work to begin with

can someone help me figure out why i cannot play my ps2 or psp back ups anymore? i was able to play them using webman via the xmb for YEARS but randomly it started to a freeze on a black screen and I have to hold the power button to reset. any help troubleshooting would be a massive help.

Are you loading them from USB or from internal storage? Have you tried updating / reinstalling webMAN. Might need to delete webMAN entirely and reinstall it. It won't delete your folders with your game content, just the app itself. It can solve a lot of loading problems.

Multiman hasn't had an update in nearly 5 years people. If anyone is having issues with Multiman on Evilnat 4.90, this is why. Switch to Irisman or ManagunZ!

Not all games are working, even ISO Decrypted games won't play, just VERY few games worked

A Fair warning for HEN users, for some reason 4.90 really doesn't play well with homebrew. and since hen is still on 3.2.2 it could be a while before anything works decently well on hen 4.90

I can play ps2 games with ps3 hen using pkgj downloading them directly on on the ps3😜
