I have wanted this song to be covered in a Heavy Metal style for over twenty years!!! I can't believe that it has finally happened. I have always loved the original song as a little kid when it came out back in the early 80's. I always felt that it could be a Heavy Metal song just by the rhythm of the song , and I am glad that I was right.

I wish this was on spotify. Im really digging the (what sounds like at least) somewhat strained vocals. Its also in Tonight We Ride after the "take hold of your steel" line

Abyss launches and I'm blown away. now I find they've done a cover to one of my favorite songs. this band just keeps on giving non-stop, its unreal!

According to Wikipedia, this song was originally supposed to be about "a totalitarian society that made everyone wear their sunglasses at night." However, Corey Hart altered the lyrics to be "more romantic" when the record company asked for something more marketable.

The very first comment explains it ... unusual high prices for CDs in Japan so literaly everybody adds exclusive Specials to entice Buyers

I cannot stand this song. But UA actually makes it bearable.
