AI is changing the way research is conducted and scientific papers are written. Today, the English language is easier for non-native speakers than it was in the past, thanks to AI breaking down barriers.

Andy, can you do some videos on how to search, read, and write WITHOUT AI? It would be helpful for people who want do their PhD the traditional way

Hi Andy, it seems everyday a new app pops out to claim is the best academic ai app around, to add, most of these app requires subscriptions to access tools they know we need the most, and they are unaffordable for most students in developing economies. So if an ordinary student were to ask you for a complete set of academic ai tools to be able to write their dissertation/thesis, which top 5 can you recommend and why? Please separate between paid and free ones.

Hi Andy, thank you for your super informative vids. I am an academic editor who works with researchers whose native language is not English. I only recently learned about Paperpal and looked for some info about it. I assume that you are using the paid version of this and the other powerful AI tools that you have reviewed, but as far as I can tell, I did not hear you say so explicitly. Does this clip refer to the paid version of Paperpal?

Is the text paraphrasing with these tools could be detected with an AI turnitin detector?? I have an article, and I used QuillBot to check and paraphrase the texts, and it was detected as an AI writer when I uploaded the manuscript to Turnitin.

IT'S VERY IMPORTANT to say that, unfortunately, paperpal doesn't work for us from other fields of study. It suits only for physical sciences, life sciences and medicine!!

I think scispace is more like a SE- search engine while Paperpal is writing assistant.

Maybe a trial and error!!! Things are changing and what worked yesterday today might not be at par. CHATGPT remains my favourite in terms of language translation but it depends on how one writes the prompts!!! My opinion!!!
