The way Yuan sighed with relief when Qian was in his arms. Also, that happy and satisfied smile Qian had hearing their voices. Qian is so happy to have him back in the house.

I love how the director chose to express the development of Qian's feelings by the way he cared about Yuan's room until eventually he couldn't help himself but call Yuan. Our boy Qian is struggling a lot. I love it.

The phone call scene is so precious! The way Yuan reacted, you could see just how happy he was to hear Qian's voice. Kurt's acting was spot on.

This Bl is such a gem. With every episode, they are setting the standard for BL dramas so high. Each episode of this drama is so impressive. Even though the duration of the episode is short but every episode and every scene is placed so well, full of emotions. Not just the drama but the OSTs are also beautiful heart heart-touching, every song features different phrases of their relationship. This episode is indeed another heart-touching emotional one but beautiful. Qian and Yuan are the comforts of each other, they are the safe place in each other's lives. From the very childhood, Qian never cut the slack to himself, he always worked hard to take care of his family, he wanted to be the backbone of the family which he is indeed but at the end of the day he is also a human being he also needs a place to rest he also needs someone who can take care of him the way he cares of others and Yuan is the exact person for him on the other side when the whole world abandoned Yuan, Qian was the one who save him, who showed the love to him, who bright up his dark cold world, who make him feel safe again. This episode makes me tear up many times the letter Yuan leaves for his elder brother, the conversation at the food stall, the slow realization of Qian about how much space Yuan occupies in his life, what is Yuan to him and also for their family and the smile that comes out in Qian's face when he realized his little brother is back and their home again feeling like home, it's so heartwarming.

.....Omg yes. It's such a gem! I believe it's a low-budget drama, too. But omg!! The acting, especially the character that plays Yuan, is very good!!! And the chemistry of the two MLS is spot on. I love the music they put for this drama, too!! Hopefully, this drama will get more popular!!!❤ It deserves it!!!

@alenaxiong22 yeah, both MLSs have their own story, and the way their character and the whole story are unfolding is captivating. I love the way they show so much depth in both Qian and Yuan's characters. It is not that Qian wants to ignore Yuan's feelings for him or wants to send him abroad, he is also missing him he also wants him to come back but he is holding himself back he trying not to act hastily cause he knows very well just his one wrong decision can hurt Yuan more than anything. He might not show how he cares for him but he does. He is one who said that if he lost Yuan he will left nothing. Their love for each other is so pure it might be in the form of brothers or lovers.

1 week seems so long w this series i cant get enough!

That warm smile of Qian at the end❤ The episode showed how much Qian missed those lively moments back then having Yuan and Liu Li together ❤, and did you notice Qian didn't answer to the question of San Pang whether he has feelings for Yuan too ! 😌Just ❤ing the way each episode unfolding their story .

The relief Yuan got after qIAN put his head on Yuan's shoulder....was just hooooo😌🙃... I myself felt like relief for a moment... ❤❤

​@@kellib5291They didn't say it. ....It was shown @17:05. Qian turned on the lamp after he cleaned the room and left it on. Then @22:17 when he went into the room, it was still on. This indicates he always left the lamp on in Yuan's room.

The acting is superb! How subtle Yuan and Quian acts . So calmly , without any hyper voice they can express anger, desperation, love

Now according to the next preview ,yuan will tease Qian as if he isn't in love with him anymore 😂.. But audience knows better , we know that how yaun was eager to meet his big bro

Isn't San Pang a bit of a hypocrite? He's dating Lili, who for a long time saw him as an older brother, but Yuan can't date Qian, having never seen him as an older brother?

The theme that run through the whole,e episode is “ Longing” Quian only felt it after Yuan left, he chose to avoid the feeling and get drunk till the 3 rd year Yuan left. The most touching scene for me is the phone call on the stairs, he worked up the courage to dial Yuan’s number, but couldn’t talk to him, so he sent a text instead”if you miss home, come back” which I interpreted it as “ I miss you, come home” and did you guys notice in the taxi, when Yuan pull Quian to rest on his shoulder, Yuan’s eyes are red!! He is able to hold his Gege again😢amazing acting!!

This series is a roller-coaster of emotions. I really need a happy ending.😮

The way you can feel Qian’s loneliness, how empty he feels without Yuan’s presence, how he’s living through his memories of a lively home and that’s what I love about this series, you can feel everything as the characters portray their struggles, anguish, despair and suffering so well and Qian is such an interesting character. You can’t read him that easily, you can’t pinpoint what exactly he’s thinking and I find that so beautiful. You know he’s missing the boy, you know he’s struggling with his own feelings, but you don’t know what he would do next. He sent the boy away, influenced by the hypocrite San Pang (I can’t stand him), but he was regretting that decision, especially here 18:38 his expression is heartbreaking 18:50 because there are years where he couldn’t measure the boy’s height, something that is part of their family dynamics and that must hurt so bad and he still struggles with his feelings, ones that are clearly transforming into something different and deeper and the way he can’t just do something as simple as a phone call 20:09 is very telling that his feelings are not the same and I feel so bad for him, he wasn’t raising someone and looked at Yuan as his potential lover, he was seeing the boy as another sibling, he was seeing himself as a father figure to the boy even, so his struggles are so palpable 😢 “Come back if you miss home” 23:16 he was the one missing the boy the most, so he took the decision of having him back, which is why he was cleaning the room, watering the cactus and fixing the lamp 🥺 I love this scene 27:39 because Yuan just placed his arm behind Qian’s nape as he wanted the man to be comfortable, but it was Qian the one who leaned forward 27:42 and it was like that in the past. Qian always looked for Yuan’s warmth in his sleep and the way Yuan reacted, the relief you can see in his eyes as he has his Ge back in his arms 27:49 his small smile 27:53 😭 and Qian’s smile 29:39 how content he is again because he’s hearing them bickering, because the house went back to normal, it’s not empty anymore, they can create more memories together and that’s the beauty of this, that’s his own small family, regardless of what happens with Yuan and his own feelings, they will be family forever 💗 Edit: This scene 5:58 made me tear up. Because Qian is celebrating the new year without Yuan. And you can see him seated in a position that he is facing the boy and he holds his beer can and acts as if he’s making a toast and clinking their beers together 6:01 he’s imagining the boy there and he’s content at that moment and it’s so sad. And you could see him looking at that spot 5:13 he was living through his memories 😭 and people, I have the right of not liking San Pang, let me have that as it’s my own understanding of the story, let me just have that 🫠

Why I didn’t wait for it to finish n binge watch it in one sitting waiting for each episode is torture

People are clamoring for the next episode but I think it’s perfect to dole it out weekly. This series is so good it needs to be savored.

Hear me out Now, if you go to episode 7 the last minutes you will see that at the end normally yuan Will stay there with yuan when he is sick but he left the room with the siser. I think he came back with an agenda And that agenda is to stop running after him And make qian run after yuan. Please look at the review of Episode8 where he Get up and get some water And qian Thought that He was giving him the water But he gave the guy the water. And when they was fishing in the review in episodes 8 he stated to qian what make you think I still like you? He came back to distance himself for qian but with the agenda to make qian feelings know for yuan by not doing the things he use to do for qian. I predict the next episode which is episode 8 we will really get to see qian feelings for his bother comes out in the open and a kiss.

I'm an occasional person here but I want to express my awe in the face of beauty. I am truly to run out of words and maybe even the story doesn't need any. Because it rises over the genre it tagged to and, perhaps, it even rises above the book it's based on. Because it is more in scale and it is subler in poesy. Because it is something that is brought in half-tones and is said in half-words. Something to make you believe not in fairytale crush, but in mankind, as it portrays that very love that still lingers "after the tongues shall be silent, the prophesies ceased and the knowlege extinct".
