MEng degree was of 3 terms but mr akshay completed in 16 months. I would be more than happy to know the reason for doing it in 16 months. Actually the thing i am getting curious about is that can we apply for upto 3 year pgw after 3 terms (12 months) degree. I want to know that did he study extra courses in the last term or just complete the courses required for degree completion. Soo the question is when we complete 3 terms (12 months) degree in 16 months are we eligible to apply for pgw upto 3 year? And also do we need to extend our study permit if we study one extra term like akshay did.

Getting a 3 year work permit if you have finished your masters in 3 terms can be tricky. Some people get 1 year pgwp and some get 3 years pgwp, depends on their luck. Usually if you finish 8 courses over the period of 4 terms (16 months) you get 3 year pgwp, its totally possible that even after finishing your coursework in 16 months you might end up with a shorter duration pgwp, however it's very rare. Students usually finish 7 courses in first three terms and take 1 course and make last term as a part-time term. Hope it helps.

@@akshaykapoor5679 thank you so much brother...so getting ELIGIBLE to APPLY for UPTO 3 yrs pgw is something different and GETTING a pgw of exactly or nearly 3 years depends on luck..... isn't it true that we need 16 months FULL TIME study to be elegible to APPLY for upto 3 year pgw? Or even if we study 3 full time terms and 1 part time term we can still apply for upto 3 years work permit? Like in case of 8 months full time study we can only apply for pgw upto one year Just need to know if we can apply for upto 3 years pgw with 12 fulltime + 4 partime or is is it compulsory to have 16 months full time study to be ELEGIBLE to APPLY for UPTO 3 year pgw?

Hi Arvinder. You did your MSc from one of India's most pretentious university and I won't suggest you this course. Frankly speaking you will get your work permit, PR and everything. But if you really want to learn something please opt for a university. I did pg diploma in Big data. I got a great job. But I had my own reasons to select a college and not university. For this part you can watch information security video. The speaker in that video also did 3 years bachelor's degree
