University of Chicago: The 537th Convocation

The 537th Convocation of the University of Chicago was held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, on the Main Quadrangle. The University of Chicago Pipe Band led distinguished faculty and degree candidates in a procession, followed by opening remarks from President A. Paul Alivisatos. Provost Baicker introduced Professor Tom Ginsburg, who delivered the Convocation Address, “Conversation and Democracy”.
