It’s the lack of consistency some seasons they were packin heat like 02 thru 04 & 08 thru 11. They’ve always had a decent size band but I think region has a lot to do with it as well I can’t think of any other hbcu bands in Arkansas

one of the only hbcu bands I watch specifically to see the band and not the dancers. The band has a really well balanced and articulate sound!! Hold up THE LAST MARCH AM I HEARING DYNAMIC RANGE FROM AN HBCU MARCHING BAND!!? AND CLARINETS, FLUTES, PICCOLO THAT ARE ACTUALLY TUNED PROPERLY!!! Honestly the band is ground breaking just for that!
