So einfach bohrst Du Dübellöcher für Holzverbindungen mit dem Universaldübler. Ob Eck- oder Flächen- oder T-Verbindungen: Einfach festspannen, bohren, dübeln - ohne Messen und Markieren.

Der #Universaldübler besteht aus einer Bohrlehre und einem Brettspanner und ist für alle #Holzverbindungen geeignet. Die Bohrlehre hat zwei Reihen Bohrbuchsen für 6-, 8- und 10-mm-Dübel. Für jede Dübelgröße gibt es vor den Buchsen die entsprechende Führungsnut zum Abgreifen von eingebohrten Dübeln.
Der Brettspanner hat keine Bohrbuchsen und dient lediglich zum Abstützen bzw. Festspannen der Bretter.
Zuerst müssen die Seitenwände auf der Holzfläche sowie die Böden auf der Kante markiert werden. Festgespannt werden die Bohrlehre, der Brettspanner und Brett mit Spannschrauben, damit auch nichts verrutscht. Zwei variable Spannböcke dienen dazu, das andere Holzbrett festzuspannen. Dazu kannst Du in zwei Bohrungen eingesteckt werden und die Bretter so waagerecht oder senkrecht spannen. Anschließend werden das Stirnloch im Boden als auch das Loch in der Seitenwand mit dem passenden Dübelbohrer gebohrt. Dieser Vorgang wird für alle vorgesehenen Dübellöcher wiederholt bis die gewünschte Anzahl an Dübellöchern vorhanden ist.

Ich habe dieses Gerät gekauft, sobald es auf den Markt kam, in den 1970er Jahren, glaube ich. Es ist das beste und am häufigsten verwendete Gerät, das ich je gekauft habe. I bought this device as soon as it came on the market, in the 1970s, I think. It's the best and most used device I've ever bought.

I like this clip alot; I have one of these contraptions and, although you get instructions, it's nice to all the uses you can put this jig to without referring to the paperwork all the time.
Herrlich gezeigt! Ich denke das ist viel leichter wie alle Dovetails. Ist es erhaeltlich uebersee, bestimmt. Ich bin ganz ueberzeigt und wqerde es versuchen, es ist so klar!

is it possible to make edge-to-edge with materials thickness of 36 mm, because in the specification maximum thickness is 1-1 / 4 ", which is a little less than 32 mm

I read on Amazon and review on this jig, saying that L connections aren't flush all the time, and that they're off from 1/32 to 3/32nds of an inch. When I bought this jig, and saw this video, I figured out things. One, it must be a pain to make L connections unless one has two drills. One small simple project, fine. But I've got 500 holes to drill in ten bookcases, most of which are L connections. Therefore, Changing the drill bit every time is not an agile option. I think I'd rather make my L connections the way you do T connections. That also may help with off-flush connections. I'll get back to you.
This model is sold by Rockler in the US. Can we have an English version? Very nice video.

Hallo, ich hätte eine Frage...wie wird dann eingestellt ob ich mit ein 16mm oder z.B 19mm Platten arbeite, da das Loch muss schon in der Mitte sein.

Das Arbeiten mit dem Universaldübler geht schnell und einfach weil er sich auf die Brettstärke vom Rand aus bezieht - hat also immer den gleichen Abstand von außen. So wird ein bündiger Abschluß sicher gestellt. Soll aus Belastungsgründen der Dübel in die Mitte gesetzt werden, empfehlen wir den wolfcraft Meisterdübler.

Indeed, the video shows how the (8mm) dowel is off center at the head end of the plywood. In case of 18mm plywood a 6mm dowel (=18mm/3) should have been used and the off center position will cause a weak joint. Unfortunately I learned about your "Wofcraft Meisterdübler" when it was too late... Wolfcraft should have pointed this out on the product documentation instead of as an afterthought on KZread!!!
Die unverbindliche Preisempfehlung für das Set mit Dübelhilfe, 8er Bohrer mit Tiefenstop und 40 Stück 8er Holzdübel liegt bei 41,90 €. Das gerät ist aber auch für 6er und 10er Dübel verwendbar!

Die Vorlage ist sehr gut; aber es hat ein Problem, und das ist, dass es die Perforation nicht gut platziert lässt und die Position in L nicht bündig lässt.

Wie bekommt man das Tool denn für verschiedene Holzstärken eingestellt? Geht das überhaupt? Der Dübel sitzt ja gar nicht mittig...

Ist tatsächlich so das die Dübellöcher nicht mittig zu liegen kommen! Funktioniert aber trotzdem einwandfrei und stellt sicher, dass die Bretter nicht 180 Grad verdreht ineinander gesteckt werden können.

Hola, excelente vídeo, una magnífica herramienta pero quiero saber si con la mima puedo centrar orificios para piezas de madera mas gruesas es decir para espesor de 3mm. 4mm. o más. Bonjour ichthus, Il se peut que le perçage ne soit pas centré sur le chant de la planche. Mais cela n'a aucun impact sur la qualité de l'assemblage. Ce "décalage" sera identique sur l'autre pièce de bois. Les deux planches seront donc bien affleurées ! :)

Bonjour Hassane, Ce gabarit est l'idéal pour un assemblage simple par tourillons. Il permet les assemblages en angle, en T et bord à bord. A bientôt. Sébastien.
Dicono che col tempo i fori si allargano per via delle punte del trapano diventando un utensile impreciso.

Buongiorno, non ci risulta in quanto i fori hanno al loro interno una boccola metallica proprio per evitare che la punta del trapano consumi il materiale.

universal dowelling set
I have pought this devie to do my kitchen cabiinets and I am seriouslydeceived. The demo shows small panels. It doesnt work that esys with the big ones. The holes are to near to the edge and you cant adjust it. You need put something between wood and clamp to protect wood against clamp marks. It is relatively expensive for the job. Some cheaper toos do it probably better. I purchased this tool at RONA hardware store in Canada (Quebec it is the place where I live) for little more than 60$ can.

non puo' esserlo: poiche' la "sporgenza" di alluminio ha uno spessore fisso, i fori saranno centrati per UN SOLO spessore del legno. Non so come si faccia a concepire e commercializzare una stupidaggine del genere.
Das ist überhaupt nicht neu, das habe ich schon sehr lange, und verwende es immer für Verbindungen mit Dübeln.

the most idiot thing in the world: holes are centered for one (and only one!) thickness of wood panel. Don't waste your money.

That's true, the holes are centered for only one thickness! But does it have to be in the center for all application? There is an alternative: the "Meisterdübler" (from Wolfcraft too) or the JointPro (from Milescraft).

pinco pallo - From this site: "Handles stock ranging from 1/2" to 1-1/4". I've owned one for 20 years. Drilled dowel holes in all sizes of stock. You should search before making such a claim. www.rockler.com/dowel-pro-jig
