It really scares me back in the day. For some odd reason mca tv exclusive distributor didn't scare me much. I do like the jingle on mca and I like when some switch the jingle on it. For example on Alfred Hitchcock presents in the 80s and lassie had mca tv with the 1980 universal jingle on it.

LTV MCA forgot all about Studios USA which produced and/or distributed all (or the vast majority) of Universal's television fare from 1998 until 2002. Also missing is the NBC-Universal Television Distribution on the purple background that has been used for syndicated programming (including program reruns) since 2009.

NBCUniversal should really promote NBC as their main brand for television entertainment. As part of the process, Universal Television would be rebranded NBC Studios, using a modified version of the "NBC Presents" logo that precedes the network's in-house productions, incorporating a Comcast byline. It would still use the name "Universal Television" for shows that it produces on platforms owned by competing companies, but now using a logo based on the 2012 Universal Pictures theatrical logo. Universal Content Productions would be renamed California National Productions, reviving the name of a production company NBC owned in the 1950s. Universal International Studios would be renamed NBC International Studios. The parent division of all three, Universal Studio Group, would now be called NBC Studio Group. The Universal brand would now be associated mainly with movies and theme parks.
