Arlovski deserves credit for the rather minimalistic roles he's been given in cinema, but he played perfectly. Also in Universal Soldier: Regeneration. His fighting scenes are always top.

This is how to film fight scenes. No over editing. No cgi. Little use of stunt actors. Long back & forth with little cut aways & see the actors do the moves. I love all Adkins & this is among his best + Andrei A disappeared after a few good baddie roles

Boyka might be the most complete fighter but hands down this is one of the most perfect fight scenes in cinema history. It has a flow and rhythm that remains unmatched. There isn't a single frame of filler in this fight. At 3.34 minutes it manages to tell a complete story and show an epic battle.

I agree mate. that's my fave part too. His whole demeanor changes , like flipped a switch, gone from being defensive to offensive once the programming kicks in. Its incredible.

Dude! Do you think that they were like.....Yeah!, Just FUCKING hit me! That shit was insane!! Andrei was a beast in the ring. He had to be like, this shit is nothing! But getting slammed by Scott Adkins, that had to hurt. Best fight scene ever. If Scott or Andrei are watching this, man that shit was epic!

Probably you will not see such a fight choreography in any movie.

This is probably my favorite fight scene of Scott Adkins's entire film career! The way this fight was coregraphed is very satisfying. Well done Scott Adkins and well done camera man!

Nope, the best fight scene ever is surprisingly in a lesser known Jason Statham movie called "Parker". Both actors do their own stunts and martial arts and that fight is incredibly brutal. Type "Parker Fight Scene" in the search box and watch. The part with the Spyderco knife through the hand at the end of the scene is especially brutal.

They're both ''Universal Soldiers'' ( ''UniSols"), dead soldiers who have been turned into cyborg super soldiers. They're extremely hard to kill & have super human strenght, also they don't feel any pain. In order to put them down, you need to either blow them up, burn them or use massive force, otherwise they just keep coming.

The fight scene has a very successful tension, and the background musical textures create an almost terrifying atmosphere. This movie is very underrated.

The fact that Scott was actually injured with and leg injury during the filming of this scene makes the fight even more impressive.

For an MMA fighter, i feel like Andre Arlovski portrayed this role well. Convincing as a universal soldier (sorry, i forgot if they have a specific term foe there human wespons". Open to correction though. Is good to learn.

Yes and no. It's established that Arlovski was a next-gen Unisol, but Adkins may be next generation again. He listens to a recording that suggests they have figured out how to Create new Unisols in only 9 months, whereas Van Damme's generation took months or even years. It would explain why, out of all of the Unisols, only the next-gen Arlovski and Van Damme, whose character was by far the strongest and best of the first generation, are the only one's who can give him a serious fight.

@@Creasy5678 how can Van Damme can be on par with Adkins if he's the first universal soldier to be created (he didn't even had a chance against Arlovski in Regeneration and he barely won), makes no sense unless Luke Devereau is unique ? And yeah Adkins wrecking Arlovski is obvious because he's a next gen driven with emotions that fuels his rage making him stronger.
