Van Damme was at his best and looked his best as well in this movie...The story line was unique in it self as well, the concept of genetically engineered soldiers always makes for a more interesting story line in any case

one of the few action movies that will never age and still look futuristic in 2020. unlike the crappy stuff we have now (except the expendables, of course). back when kids were allowed to watch action movies and pretend you were like these guys when you were around with the kids from your block...and we were not traumatized by the violence portrayed, and parents were not restrictive with these things. i feel bad for the kids nowadays, they'll never be as cool as we were.

Dolph is awesome as a crased Vietnam sergeant and he could have easily been in terminator 3 if they would have shot it like they were supposed to in the mid 90s

Parts where filmed at Kingman airport in Kingman Az and on the road to Oatman. Jean Claude Van Dane celebrated his birthday at Don Laughlins Riverside casino. I remember I have the same birthday.

Damme constantly lying about his height,he is not tall,he is 168cm tall, very short guy.One of my female friends saw him in person when he visited ufc fighter Crocop, she said that he was exactly her size, which is about 170cm.guy has long legs on his size,so on screen he looks taller

What happend with Dolph's face? After 1993 his jaw got bigger, his face became so thin. A bad plastic surgery, maybe?
