The unit and the process are the same for a3 2006-2007. The 2007 A4 moved to a different radio but the A3 did not.

It will work with any 1998-2006 A4 that does not have the RNS-E navigation radio.

You may have received a defective one. We usually do not have any volume issues.

Will this work with the bose speakers? I have a right hand drive A4 (2006) with Symphony 2 (looks exactly the same as your radio) but I know that the bose speakers come with a new chip.

I got a question, im trying to install a iphone charger wire into my ash tray. I know how to take off the trim but not sure on how to take out the whole ash tray assemby itself, it pop's out a bit but feels like theres still something holding it in place under the climate controls. Do i need to remove that first? If so how? TIA

I just bought a Blitzsafe for my 2002 Audi A4 and it was only able to play one song from my iPhone until I restarted my car and it kept showing me CDC1 LOAD and never played another song. What does this mean? Also the green/blue/yellow adapter seems to not fit (doesn't click so easily) but yet the Blitzsafe kit says its compatible with my car. Should I just exchange it for another one?
