Thanks i was trying to figure out a way to spawn a prefab on my mouse position but it was not working now i know how and why.
Great! To get mine to work (since I already had pre-existing stuff), I also had to drag my prefab object into the Inspector for the script where that new variable was going to be.

The object spawns, but it's invisible. my other rigidbody can interact with it but it isnt visible to me.

Did you try changing the tag name of your camera to "MainCamera"?
