Tbh, the fuselage cartwheeling is kinda realistic to the real accident

They managed to keep the plane up even without the control surfaces with the help of the engines, while most other pilots couldn’t have kept the plane up as long as they did. Cheers to the pilots.

Every single person on that plane was as good as dead when the #2 engine blew and took out the hydraulics. Diligent work of the crew plus the check pilot who came to the cockpit saved a majority of the passengers. Not a single person who tried this scenario in the simulator for United even made it to SUX.

im fairly certain he says "brake! stop it with rudder!" as it was discussed before between the crew that they would have 1 shot at stomping on the brakes if there were fluid trapped there. reviewing their options for landing the first officer asked if he should pull the spoilers on the touch and the captain replied get on the brakes with me. here he is just throwing it out as a last ditch command before touch down
