I do prefer transistor sound to valves. I sold the Unison Research and kept the Yamaha. It's all subjective though.

Thank you for your answer. I currently own yamaha as2000 and cds2000. I was considerring buying UR hybrid or tube amp, but i'm not sure i will be upgrading.

Can someone please tell me what the bulb-lookalike is? And what do they do?

These are called Valves or Tubes and they amplify the signal. Commonly used in electronics since early 1900s, then replaced by more efficient transistors in the 50s.

The transistor,It can improve the sound quality

Even MOSFET amplifiers sound dry like a rock compared to Tube amplifiers

El titulo también menciona las yamaha y casi no se ven durante todo el video. Además con el objetivo gran angular se ve bastante mal todo. Una pena
