TLDR: Despite Gehlee having the least amt of lines, she totally slayed and stood out so much visually and vocally! Line distribution isn't the only thing that matters, you gotta look at the overall performance and impact. Our princess jelly ate and left no crumbs --- Context: Since CEO's trying to raise SK and JP market (bc UNIS was mostly popular Internationally vs S. Korea and Japan) it makes sense why Nana and Seowon are first. Also note Japan has the #2 largest music industry in the world ($2.4 billion USD), higher than SK and Philippines. So it's a smart move putting Nana as center. I understand everyone's concerns about Gehlee, but let's look at the big picture. Yeah, she was the last for lines this era but most of the Superwoman KZread reactors said she stood out the most and was very captivating. Her and Seowon's vocal tone were easily the highlights for me in the album bc they were very unique. At the end of the day, lines aren't everything. You gotta consider the whole package---the MVs, live stages, styling, etc. Gehlee ATE with her visuals and parts, she understood the assignment! She did not get a lot of onomaetopoeia lines (like Shuhua for example or Bahiyyih) and had full English and some Korean lines. IMO, in Kepl Even if the lines were lower, Princess Jelly had that Gehlee Impact! So, if a member has less lines, ask yourself: do they make it up through visuals? Do they stand out vocally or visually? Do they receiving the killing parts? I think Gehlee did just that. Slayed and ate good. No complaints for our Princess Jelly for me. Even tho she has less lines, she had that Gehlee Impact. Also, since Gehlee stood out to almost every new UNIS listener despite having less lines, I hope people notice the person with the 2nd least amount of lines (Oh Yoona). Ofc, I do wish they gave more lines to Elisia but let's wait for the next album to see if this will stay consistent before flaming F&F on their 1st album. Let's go UNIS!

(Toxic Princess Gehlee solo stan should understand that companies also have strategies in marketing, in fact they/toxic solo stans just complain and don't have impact like buying album, stream, etc) Btw, don't get me wrong, Gehlee is one of my Bias, but c'monnn..They just debut, y'all act like FnF Ent always do this, FnF is also new at promoting idols in song (as UNIS is their first Girl Group) So let's just hope that UNIS in the future will be an amazing group! (They already are actually, but they still need many improvement) Edit: Before this comment blow up I just wanted to say that..sadly, yes this kinda sounds like "Seowon and friends" song, but back again to the my words above, Btw (again) Why is it so funny that people are sad about Gehlee and not Yoona who also deserve more as she is (almost) an all-rounder?? (I said almost cause she still lacks on things, but yeah she deserve regonition too..) And for Elisia, third place ain't bad at all, Nana and her only has 7.1 minutes different, as what the comment above me say, they need Nana (Mostly Japan Fanbase) to make money i believe in next or other album Elisia will be second, and also as what the comment above me say, line distribution doesn't really matter, what matter is that all member has to stand out in their songs (which is more important) and as what I see they all stand out with their own way.

It’s not really Wonyoung-ing when she holds the Main Vocalist position though. If anything Nana is getting that treatment, she’s in second position above a Main Vocalist and both Lead Vocalists.

Elisia's lines went down after Dopamine Didn't expect her to be 3rd. But I'm kind of glad since she may have a chance to be at 2nd place soon. ( I really hope so.)

@@weret23 agree both are true. Elisa and Gehlee really got the votes going, but prior the program airing there was a "korean campain" going. I hope that they also promote in SA soon to keep the moment going. I find way nicer of the company to had non korean trainees and actually cast them , then just use them for views as others competition in the same season did.

I hope they'll give Yoona and Gehlee lines on their next comeback. They are good singers.

Seowon is Korea's golden child since UT days. They will prioritize her for Korean fans since it's kpop... like what do you expect. Nana being the favorite and 2nd with having most lines is their strategy to penetrate the Japanese market.

Ya'll need to stop expecting Gehlee to have the more lines than the others. This is kpop, she is still learning korean. They are giving her english parts and easy korean lines since it's the most suitable for her right now.

Also she’s a Sub-Vocalist. She shouldn’t be getting tons of lines anyway, especially in a group with two Main Vocalists and two Lead Vocalists. Plus she doesn’t have a rap position either. I think people are forgetting how normal K-pop distributions usually work. Everything is not equal.

like theres 8 of them and 2-3 really good vocalist so its going to be fewer than what the girls themselves would want. the great thing about these girls is.... they can promote in groups of 4 and still have a great vocal and stage performance since everyone sings live.

Whoever was in charge of the songs clearly favoured Seowon more this feels like a butterfly effect

Hope this group isnt the next kepler with the bahiyyih things or they will lost their peak

I agree. Wag na kayo magreklamo sa distribution. Kung totoong UNIS fan kayo, wala kayong paki dapat kahit na 1 sec lang yung line na mapunta sa kanila, lalo na yung filo line. Pasalamat nga kayo nasabit pa yang dalawang yan sa final line up eh. Sa tingin niyo ba na deserve nila talaga mapasama sa UNIS? Even during the Universe ticket she was being put on center position. Though for me, she's a bit overrated. She is good but there's nothing special. Btw, this is just my opinion. Maybe it's a part of FnF's strategy to promote the group. But I hope they'll give opurtunity to others like Yoona and Gehlee.

they be complaining but will not complain if their faves has more lines. As if ph can match jp and s.kor when it comes to album sales, mostly filos only do was rant here and rant there about their faves having an unfair treatment but can’t even buy a single album for them. Don’t be entitled cause this is KPOP and knets are the main target audience here, you don’t have the rights to complain if knetz doesn’t favor your faves. If you have complains just sit there and hope the best for your faves. No hate I love unis as a whole group it’s just that, some of their fans really disgust me. The group just debuted and there’s so many bashing from the wanna be fans, It’s so sad that they’re expecting support but it turns out there will be full of complaints. Great album by seowon and friends! As expected the producer will make it just that. Love the kid! She's so talented and the producer made sure of that. But why do i keep hearing nana so much? She's good but other vocalist deserves more lines. Not her fault though just the crappy producers.

What is this for? Every member has assigned work. If that member was given a task that is longer in exposure of course she will be given a better score. If a person have smaller task then a smaller exposure. And all of them are good members. Do you think they will be happy you trying them to compete each other. What can they do if that was given them to perform. Have ever think of that.i pity those member in the bottom chart, it's not their fault. STOP SCORING THEM UNFAITHFULLY. I have nothing against Nana, but oh boy such a shame Elisia was positioned behind Nana. I understood business strategy but this could backfire on them (F&F). Gehlee and Yoona’s voice are way better than Katoko and Nana. F&F should re think. We’re not just talking about the Japanese and Korean market. Gehlee doesn’t have lines due to her weak Korean. Yes, Elisia and Kotoko’s Korean is clearly better than hers. Once she gets a better hand at Korean, I know she’ll get more lines.

RIght?? It makes no sense given that Elisia is supposedly the main vocalist... I don't think it's a marketing ploy anymore at this point but purely favoritism.

Favoritism? Having second thoughts of supporting this group. I think it's a waste of money to buy their album as of now. The Japanese main vocal needs to learn and improve more. I wonder if she can sing live; maybe they will just lipsync during live performances. Just my opinion though.
