if we start manufacturing cans of fresh air people will become more careless about air pollution as they will be indulged to a thinking that what's the need of reducing air pollution if they can buy clean air .And in this way people with money will survive but what about the planet and poor people and also the animals .Therefore I request everyone who reads this to focus on cleaning the air rather than collecting clean air and selling it .I too will really work on finding new ways and techniques when I will be an adult but my tries starts from right now

Now that I look at your comment Edward, I must say I agree with you. I'm not saying nuclear power is bad, in fact I say nuclear power is GOOD. It is a ton better than coal if you look at the facts. Japan is a good example, They have the longest life expectancy due to their lifestyles - and possibly the low pollutants too.. But, the reason why I say China shouldn't do a mass project on nuclear reactors is because while the firsts may be successful, they may get corrupt with the project. I realize that they would only hire trustworthy people to design and build. But, who knows - I'd like to thank you for opening my mind to what could happen. Nuclear power is one of the best options until better things like fusion reactors. :)

Air can always be filtered and purified, no matter how polluted it is, just like filthy water can be recycled into perfectly clean water using distillation and/or reverse osmosis. It'd be better to filter the filthy air of China and compress the pollutants into building bricks than it would be to just buy canned air.

Cars where only about 10% maybe 20-25 for new more eco friendly ones now coal plants where about 40% efficient. Electric cars are 90-99.9% efficient recapturing energy from breaking power lines around 90% so 40% * 90% * 90% = 32.4% of the energy from coal rather than 20-25% from oil and providing potential storage to support solar and wind power.

to solve polution around the world, why don't we put a metal box with a fan at one end, a water mister in the middle, and after that screen, and the water that collects the dust and pollution in the air will be caught by that screen and ran through a water filter and back to the mister, you would only need to replace the filter and maybe add a gallon of water to it a week to top it off.

In the UK punitive EU regulations and "green taxes" (now there's an oxymoron for you) ensure that factories and power stations put out very little in the way of pollution. Surely China could do the same? Chinese philanthropist? Another oxymoron. I hope his efforts work out and China cleans up its act.

you just think of what india is doing to fight pollution and worry less about china. they know what they are doing and what steps need to be taken. they don't take dictations from usa on how to do things. ten years from now it is much more likely that chinese cities will have pristine air like developed countries and we will still be fighting for odd-even, still finding ways to deal with crop burning and other such nonsense, and announcing new transportation projects which will only happen on papers. till then keep breathing democracy.
