I really like the concept of "purgatory" as a separate progression to recover. I'm more conservative, so I wonder if I could use it with a ladder system instead of Martingale +.

Great as usuall :) I dont like Martingale, only casinos like that "system" but I agree, the purgatory part is interesting. Scary, but interesting :)

His betting with the Martingale + 1 unit is called the Grand Martingale I believe

This one makes martingale more interesting and extends your ability to stay on the table, which can be pretty short in standard martingale. Makes me hate martingale a little bit less, but not enough to play it 😅

what site are you using to simulate? love your donkey punch system tweaked it a little but great system 👌🏼

It’s called a “Grand Martingale”, Mitchell can’t take an existing money management system and name it after himself isn’t that called plagiarism.

Could we see a “purgatory” style progression with a dozens/columns play style? I know it provides higher risk but also higher rewards

The problem obv5iously is when you run into a streak. I have seen streaks of 10,15 even 18 of the same even money bet and been on the wrong side.

4-22-13-28 all on the bottom couloum, i like to bet dozens against the streak so i would bet top and middle coloums here

I like this system and do very well with it but I absolutely hate betting on black or red because I usually get on tables with long streaks on one color and get screwed. So I change mine to either odd or even and I always bet on odd.

Thanks so much for the great analysis, Jack! Man, super IBS hitting Purgatory so quickly. Usually it takes longer. I'd like to add two things: 1: CEG does a great job and I'm very glad to be a part of their community, as I'm sure JackAce is as well. As Jack said, they had a few unusual editing issues with my system, and they were unclear on some of the rules, which was probably my fault. Jack got the rules spot on, and his analysis was excellent. 2) I've been playing this method longer than that goofball Christopher Mitchell. 😅

Quite difficult, at one time l bet on black and the red turn out until 20 over times..... totally out that day. Genting outside bet, min 25.00. Pattern 1,3,5,7,11,15.......

What if still lose after betting on the last leg of purgatory

Sounds like the best thing to do with $800 is split it between 2 dozens, get a 50% bump, and walk. Or lose it all. Quicker and more likely to succeed.

There are better systems where ir return is half ur bet but ur covering 3/4 of the wheel. Instead of 66% .

May as well follow Christopher Mitchell to be honest. The only way to reduce variability and long runs on the even money bets would be to use the “Mayer progression” and couple Red/Even or Black/Odd. 8 winners, 10 losers. This reduces variability. Shorter streaks helping to overcome table limit when doubling.

But I love the way he explain the strategy

You're supposed to quit. Most of the time you won't have much money left over.

I've been playing at 2 play money sites using follow the winner then after 2 losses follow the chop and it has won 200$ with the intial bet starting at 1$. U win 10 in a row and then u end up in purgetory but somehow u keep getting out of it lol

So you have to win five times in a row to escape the purgatory? Why not putting the bets on follow the winner?

@@JackAceDotCom Okay, I got that wrong. But I would go for follow the winner, so you have the chance of hitting a long color streak on both colors instead of hoping for a black streak.

​@@bobgiebelhouse3212 and what if the color skips back and forth? I used to do follow the winner until the color alternated 13 times in a row. If you keep one color, you win every other spin in this scenario. then i tried betting it will change only to have black hit 8 times in a row. literally every system you can think of has an opposite result that will bust you.

@@das_boukI play opposite colour and if there is 2 red or black then I follow the streak off course then what gets me is the terrible 2s when two of each colour appears I stop until it breaks then start again, this works with other even chances as well.
