This is a very powerful song, much powerful kung alam niyo na may nangyaring trahedya noong 90's. Ozone disco, 1996, kung saan ito'y nasunog at naging sanhi ng pagkamatay ng madaming tao dahil sa sunog na naganap doon. My god naramdaman ko talaga na nandoon ako sa ozone disco. The lyrics on this video is very illustrative, bawat lyric nadama ko. Sunugin ang ating mga paa... nasusunog na kaluluwa... sunog mula ulo hanggang paa... Itulak ang pinto... I felt I was there, it was a bone-chilling experience. I didnt really feel the burn, it's more of the horror the people have gone through as they desperately have to get out, the cold panic of the people trying to get out... Uniques chilling delivery of this song and with that funky crisp beat works magic. I hope okay sa mga pamilya ng mga biktima ang song na ito, baka kasi bumalik sa kanila ang mga masasakit na ala-ala ng mga taong di na nila kapiling dahil sa trahediya na iyon at ibo-boycott ang kantang ito.

The doors were meant to be pulled so that they could get out, but because of the bizarre amount of people in there and the panicking people trying to push to get out, they all burned. Very tragic.

Not quite sure if tama ang na-research ko about the Ozone Club incident, pero may reason din behind the title. The title Itulak ang Pinto is actually related to the way how Ozone Club's door worked. It can only be opened by pushing the door from outside part and pulling if you're inside the club. Nung nangyari ang sunog, maraming na-trap mainly dahil dito. People are charging forward when in fact, the door can be opened by pulling. Imagining those people's panic reactions, they might thought that they're already trapped.

Imagine if he just had a music video for this. A group of newly graduated teenagers and other young professionals all hyped for a grand celebration of their lives but not knowing what's gonna happen next. By the time the song hits the chorus, Unique was surprisingly on the DJ booth and eerily starts jamming to the music while the whole place is burning With tons of toxic gas, flames and smoke crawling at unimaginable speed, the horrific yet ear-splitting screams of people chaotically running for their lives as they rush towards the main entrance eventually creating a stampede. Unfortunately to some others, they've succumbed to their demise as they were consumed by the flames. The song ends with the news with Kabayan Noli de Castro's voice over broadcasting the tragedy.

I remember this tradegy, na lock up yunh mga tao sa loob ng disco bar nung nagkasunog dahil nagpanic silang lahat, and the victims frustrately pushed the door para makalabas sila when it must pulled. thats why the management of ozone was somewhat held liable. Imagine, wala sanang namatay nun kung may nakaisip na hilain ung pinto. The title was amazing (itulak ang pinto) because that was the primary cause of the deaths of the vicmim and not really the fire.

Technically, mali yung pagbukas ng fire exit imbis na palabas yung pagbukas, paloob siya kaya nung nagpanic na at nagtutulakan na mga tao, hindi na nila mabuksan yung pinto.. kaya napaka importante talaga ng architectural design.

My quick analysis (as an amateur songwriter) Who would've thought a wild party will turn into a wildfire that night? The music elements Unique utilized has captured the altogether ecstatic, rowdy, yet grave retelling of the 1996OzoneDiscotragedy. *On the song's last seconds, a loud, heavy thump is repeatedly heard (great effect of visualizing the banging of the door). The title itself gave the chills, knowing its backstory. "Itulak ang Pinto" (the more they tried to push the door and escape, the more it became a death trap. The doors were designed to be pulled in for exit) Narrating the real incident with a tragic love rendezvous, Unique created a metaphor of his personal experience throughout the song--the "disco fever" (Unique in IVOS) is now gone, burned in flames. Out of all his compositions, this song really impressed me the most. Kudos, Unique.

I understand now why Unique decided to leave the band. The message of the music was always overshadowed by the technical skills of Blaster and Zild, which isn't a bad thing. Now that he's solo, the messages that he wants to convey is loudly and clearly without being detracted by his other bandmates. I suppose this is good for all of them, since I was a fan of IVOS because of how good their instruments are. Win-win situation that they decided to separate.

Fcis medyo horror siguro yung magiging mv nito na may halong love story tas tatakbo yung "babae/lalaki na character" tas mga tao nagpapanic tas yung circuit puputok yun lang yung pagimagine ko sa magiging mv.

Same here

I just recently discovered IV of Spades and that time unique already left the group. Isa ako sa mga nanghinayang because I fell in love with their music but natanggap ko rin. IVOS and Unique, they are talented musicians and they produce amazing music. It's just sad that many people are hating on Unique because of what happen, saying na yumabang na sya, etc. c'mom he's a musician at hindi artista. Mas bigyan ng pansin ang mga kanta nya at wag punahin ang mga mababaw na bagay. For me magkasama man sila o hindi ang mahalaga ay ang musika nila. Hearing Unique's songs right now, makes me realize that he did the right decision. He can now freely express himself. Just support each one of them. Sila ang pag-asa ng OPM industry.

There was a comment in this video that said "parang Titanic with Jack and Rose yung O-Zone", and I cannot help but agree with it.

ck pogi Hindi naman solid mga high notes and falsetto ni ely nung kabataan nya. Nadala lng ng banda ung boses. We are talking about vocal quality here. Syempre walang wala si unik kay rico and ely sa pagiging overall artist. Hello overrated kaya ni unik! Tangina hahahahah

Pretty sure na yung "oooh" na sinasabi mo is actually yung synth na medyo mahina-hina lang haha. Pero oo yung bass napaka-subtle nung pagkakalagay sa kanya.

Ang genius ng lyrics yet it's so simple and had a catchy tune, hindi ko alam bat underrated to.

Nabasa ko na yung 0zone disco article, i think when i was first year high school. Tapos ngayon nalaman kong may kanta pala about sa tragedy na 'yon, pinakinggan ko 'to mga around 12 am, ako lang magisa non nasa kusina habang ginagawa ko mga school works ko. Sinalampak ko earphone ko sa tenga ko, goosebumps talaga. Nandon pa rin yung takot na parang kahapon lang nangyari yung gabing sayawan pero nauwi sa kamatayan. Hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa rin makalimutan. Ang ganda ng pagkakagawa ng lyrics, pakiramdam ko andon ako sa disco na 'yon. KUDOS UNIQUE!! ❤🔥
