transcendence by shay savage is probably the most unique romance I have ever read and is one of my favorite books of all time. it’s in his POV, caveman time, he can not understand language and has time traveling elements. it was so different but so beautiful and I reread it every year. I also recommend the transcend duet by jewel e ann and midnight valentine by jt geissinger.

I absolutely adored Transcendence . I skipped the last part bc I didn't want to read about them dying but that book really touched me. Also anything by JT Geissinger is pure gold.

Stephanie McNally Love Transcendence. It is so unique, and really sticks with you. I just read Luffs. Didn’t know there was a novella, but liked that too.

The Ice Planet Barbarians series was amazing! Not just the romance, the sci-fi parts were pretty good imo, at least for a smutty alien book :D

Wolfsong was Amazing. Ox is such an amazing character. I won't be reading Credence though. What I know about the book is just distasteful in my opinion. Pestilence was another incredible romance with strong heroine that doesn't bow down for him and what he does. Another read that sadly made me very disappointed was Born Darkly. The "romance" if there was one, was only in the first quarter of the book and then it became a bit of a mess (again, in my opinion), but I totally agree with Jess that is unique but gritty.

So, I have not read The Kingmaker Duet yet but based on what I do know of it, a series similar to it would be The New Camelot series by Sierra Simone, if you haven't read it yet. Also, Sick Fux by Tillie Cole is quite unique and I don't think I have ever read a book similar to it (it also happens to be one of my favorite books that I have ever read).

I tried reading the Kingmaker but I could not get into it. I know lots of booktubers recommend it but I gave up. The Ice planet books got me chuckling a lot. I finished Release by Aly Martinez and I am now reading most of her books. I really recommend Release. Amazing book and interesting story.

I thought The Devil by Ashley Jade was pretty unique. Not sure if it would be unique to you because you have read a lot more romance than me, but you never know. I haven't read anything like Regretting You by Colleen Hoover either. I know you have already read that. I picked up Credence not knowing anything and I keep questioning what I'm reading. Lol. I do like it though. I love that a lot of these are included in Kindle Unlimited!

Lie till I Believe by Jude Ann. It's a slow burn romance and just omg has an element at the end of the book that took my breath away. I've never read anything like it. Seriously even readers who doesn't like romance would be amazed by it. the hero is so mysterious that made me eager to know what happens next. it'll keep you wondering till the black moment happens, you don't know if the h/h would end up together then bam... seriously i don't know why no one is talking about it. It's amazing

I have really been wanting to read King Maker, so I will have to try that soon. Have you read any Anna Zaires? She has this one bonkers series called Twist Me that is about a girl who gets kidnapped by this billionaire arms dealer. I had no idea how to process it, but it was so addicting. She also has a series about an Alien Takeover of earth called Mia and Korum and it is part of this series written by multiple authors in the Krinar Chronicles. It was also... interesting and addicting. Great recs! I will check out a few of them I haven't read yet.

Barbara Aiello The Twist me books are Nora and Julian’s, and the Tormentor Mine are Sarah and Peter’s story.....I’ve read both of those series and they are good, addicting like the OP said. I didn’t read all the Capture Me books (Lucas), but I think because I tend to lean more towards the more helpless females, lol. In that series the chick is a spy.

My “nothing like it” recommendation is The Original Sinners series by Tiffany Reisz. Nora is an erotica writer, going legit with a publishing house, and the first book is a relationship with her Brit uptight editor, who learns she Lives the life she writes about. The thing that makes this fascinating is all the characters (there is a priest), and how they shape each book of the series. Avoid spoilers!
