I own the rarest 1966 Roosevelt dime! It is a SILVER 1966 dime overstruck on a 1962D dime. Certified MS62 by NGC and the only 1966 dime struck in silver known.The coin will be sold by Stack's Auctions in their August ANA sale. A 1965 silver dime of which about a dozen sre known sold for $14,000 in 2023

Hey how are you doing ive been collecting for close to a month and ive been up nights with my new addiction then i came across your video a week ago, about the 74 dime and in my small but lovely collection of pennies and other smalls i pulled out one of the prettiest dimes i had and there it was this dime is you only known of one well now 2, because this is it .....i have it full steps and mirror shine front and back ...

I HAVE THIS IM NOW VERY HAPPY

Back in the 70's I used a lot of dimes for phone calls. There was even a saying, "It's your dime" when talking to someone. Point is, they were used alot. Same with any pocket change because there were candies, 2 for a penny. Quarters all went into arcade games. We really used change for every thing. Thats why they are so hard to find in good condition.

Great now I have to search dimes more now. Thanks a lot Shaun lol. Is there any other good books like the cherry pickers guide, that show varieties and errors?

I recently found a dime with a square head on it. Missing the date mint mark and liberty, the reverse is in good condition

incredible never would i have looked before this video. while looking through my spare change which been in a plastic jug i found 4 rare dimes. 1967 1968 1974 1979 all have no mint stamp.

Sorry Shaun I have a unique Roosevelt dime, the only one known, it is a 1966 dime over struck on a 1962D SILVER Dime with both dates showing, NGC Certified MS62 ! A double struck transitional clad dated dime on a 90% silver dime planchet!

I have one with no mark 1974 and one 1979 both in fantastic condition

I have a 1974 that I believe to be a proof dime P that had the dye break into coin.

Sean I have a 74 no mint mark with a clear visible full torch at least a 66 plus grade .i wonder what its value could be

I have a 1979 d off center strike and date appears to have a 2 under the 7....the w in we trust has been slightly cut off at edge...

That is so weird, I just sent in a 1974 P dime along with a 1976P and 1976D to NGC yesterday. It has full bands in my opinion but it totally depends on how the grader feels the day he looks at it. Could be, or not. I'll let you know.

I have a 1985 p Roosevelt dime that looks identical to the last coin it even has some copper coming through the cladding on the edge only on the opposite side of the coin. I so wish I had a way to email a picture so you folks could see it and determine whether it's damage or worth grading

Got a 1974 no mint but a faint S under Roosevelt head directly in the middle, ever heard of anything like that

I found a 1974 (Philadelphia) dime with the line that goes from top of the coin ends bottom of Roosevelts neck. And the back has a line that is horizontal from the end of the dime to the third plant on the back in the middle (the separation line). How will I know the value?

I would like to show you both of my dimes so i can be sure it is a positive match

I have a 1974 without its mint mark and its in good condition
