I used to see your printers at S4S (I worked for one of your competitors) and I was impressed with how easy it was to change the tensioned membrane (PSA?) on your machines. I still miss working in the 3D printing industry.

Would this method of printing parts have a greater waste of plastic as scrap due to the support system. The supports as far as I am aware cannot be reground and re-used as can be done in injection molding? This aside, an impressive product with its speed and repeatable accuracy.

Due to the low separation forces, the supports don’t use much material. The need for supports depends on the design and geometry of the model.

Due to the changes in design, parts are now being optimised for additive manufacturing. Advance lattice structures allows parts to have minimal waste materials whilst maintaining functional strength and accuracy. The lattice structure allows us to remove a significant proportion of traditional supports cutting down on wastage.
