Unimog 421 clutch replacement (part one)

The clutch has started slipping on my Unimog 421 so needs replacement. This time-lapse video (part one) shows the removal of the cab and engine to access the double clutch.
One clutch plate drives the gearbox, the second the plate drives the PTO (power take off).

Hi, just happened to come across your vid. Just noticed that your mog was registered in the same year as one of my old 406s. I guess you don’t have the cab tilt brackets for it? Probably easier than taking the cab off 🤔. Nice vid though 👍

Thanks. I do have the cab tilt brackets yes, but getting the engine out is a cab-off job on the 421. Not too big an issue really as it was only off a year ago when I restored it - so I know the procedure well! 😆

The rims are 18x11, the tyres are 12.5-18 BKT MP-567 😊
