That scout at the very end. "I would rather pray to the Unicorn directly rather than support organized religion." Damn that hit me surprisingly hard. I'm a free thinker for most of my life and only recently had some experience with religion. That line made me realized that there is a difference between religious organizations and religion. A religion is a believe, a faith in greater powers beyond understanding. Whereas organizations are social constructs of human origin. No organization is the equal of their believes. An organization can spread the teachings of a certain faith, but at no point of time should the organization become faith itself. To put it into simpler terms the organization can be the teachers, but they are not the teachings.
To think a game is what made me realized this. Should I say the writings of the game is good or am I just too clueless about the world I live in? Anyways, this of course is nothing more than my own opinion. All you need to take away from this is joy. If you realized anything along the way, good!
