This is our favorite and the extra cost is worth it for better service and food. I give this resort 5 stars. Best resort in Mexico. Great video, gives those looking to see what it looks like, and a good refresher for those going back. Going back this week can’t wait.

Hi, do they serve whisky in the rooms, I mean using room service and what they serve on the beach ?And is smoking allowed on the room's balconies or on the beach? Also are they selling good cigars n the hotel lobby or I need to bring with me ? I am going next week there and try to figure some things.

Awesome! I have a question regarding the drone because I want to take one there in a couple of weeks. Did you have to get approval from the staff or have a permit to fly it? I’m just asking so I don’t get in trouble if I’m flying one.

You need approval if you want to fly over the resort. Beach area is far game as it’s not resort property! Mexico does have laws with drone operating depending on its size

Hi! I see you’ve been to Majestic Elegance and Unico. Which did you prefer? I know Unico is older but is it very well kept and clean?

Unico is a significant step above, but so is the price. Majestic a great option for the price point, but Unico wins.

Majestic elegance was nice but the food sucked . Unico is way up there !

In all your Mexico resorts you have been to, where would you place this in the ranking (top 5?) We are torn between 3 resorts, and they all have great reviews. This one we have heard mixed messages. Would it be good for a honeymoon in your opinion?

It’s a great resort for a honeymoon! Without knowing you or your wishlist, it’s hard for me to rank it for you. It’s quiet in the evenings, which many honeymooners like, so they can just chill with their spouse. If your travel agent recommended it for you, I’m sure you’ll like it!

@Memories and Mojitos Travel Thank you so much! Quiet is very important to us. We are not a couple that enjoys a big nightlife at a resort. We like lots of food variety, pools, and a nice beach. We go to bed by 7 or 8pm most of the time 🤣🤣🤣.

Could you rank Unico, Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres, Excellence PM or Excellence RC and Secrets Akumal for June 2025? I realize Coral doesn’t open until February 25. Is it worth taking a chance to book coral for June 25? Thanks.

From that list, Secrets Akumal would be first for me. Can’t speak to ECPM yet, but it’s advisable to wait 6-12 months if you’re looking for a seamless experience
