I cannot tell you how thank full i am to you for making this video. I tried to find out if one can use aux for all the sound outputs but could find it anywhere other than your video. As my experience with fm transmitters is not so clear as the sound quality isn't as good as o er bluetooth or aux.

The glass acts like a mirror or a magnifying glass? i would like to modify this product to atach it to my motorcycle.

It's difficult to describe. It's see-through plastic, but it has a coating on it that makes it reflective like a mirror for it to reflect and magnifying what the small display shows in front of it. Hope this helps.

Can you plug your phone into CarPlay via USB to Car and will the HUD mirror that?

No it needs to be plugged into the hud device

If my car has android auto can I use both android auto on the hud and on my car

Your phone will only connect to one of them. If you’re connecting another phone then yes that should be possible.

Great video, I ordered the same one! You didn't think that the fact that he's staying in the sun on a dashboard constantly won't be a problem?

It should be made to resist the heat by being on the dashboard. There is cooking grills and a fan in there I think, so it should be able to resist heat. Worst case, it should power down if too hot.

Make sure you have no other bluetooth connections running. Disconnect from any hands-free connections or profiles, maybe even forget them so they do not conflict with any other bluetooth connections.

I wouldn't bother. I don't think they sell it anymore and there are much better options out there now, such as the Coral Vision Lite/Pro - kzread.info/dash/bejne/Zm2pzM2yeqq5lps.html

Just CarPlay. It can’t do any mirroring or casting, if that’s what you mean?

@@jamessoriano1114 If you do not have a CarPlay system/display already in the car, then you would need a solution for that first. Either retrofitting a CarPlay aftermarket system or upgraded system from a similar make/model as your own. There is the Dashboard console that we have reviewed here kzread.info/dash/bejne/e2efu8maaba5epM.html or there is this system from Unichip, which isn't as good as the dashboard console. You can get a wired dashboard console and MMB Dongle plus and cast to that, but the performance isn't fantastic right now.

good overview of this product. but for me it is one more point to not use a HUD. I don’t become friendly with this. the usability of this product looks not very practical. I mean that Carplay has to be included in a vehicle unit and not in a separate unit. with this unit i can’t use any music app in my vehicle. I would never buy it. 👎 greets from germany. take care. I love my Wireless Carplay Adapter from Carlinkit.

Thanks for sharing your view of it. I forgot to mention that its best to use Siri to control and launch apps on CarPlay as this will avoid the unintuitive wheel control. Not having touch control of CarPlay is this units major flaw, which is why I think if someone bundled this into a mountable tablet display, it would be a great solution for anyone not willing to install a dedicated receiver or OEM unit in their vehicle.

I think I would prefer your display in your car then that where you have everything anyway
