    The beauty of having Austin do these interviews is that these wrestlers have some serious war stories, and Austin not only can relate, but he seems to genuinely enjoy hearing everyone's stories.

    I love the mutual respect between Austin and the wrestler he's talking to. He's so much nicer than the aggressive, stirring style that you see elsewhere.

    I always thought of their matches that way too, Kane vs Undertaker was always such a big deal to me that I’d plan out of my whole night for it making sure nothing would be in the way of the match

    I'm always amazed by wrestlers in their real selves sharing stories behind some of their moments in and out of the squared circle, like it also adds to note that good pro wrestling has also great storytelling, like how they do it.

    Undertaker, Kane and Angle are my three. The first two on emotional connection, Kurt because his skill and charisma was undeniable. Removing emotion from it, Kurt is streets ahead of anyone I ever watched, from the start he just 'got it' and was just amazing, and got better and better and better. I would like to thank all three for their effort, skill and love for what they do.

    Growing up in the 80s you had the CCW guys like the Bullet Bob Armstrong and the WWF aka WWE, with Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant, so yeah always a fan, but today in 2021 it's hard because to me it's just not the same, and hate to guys like Triple H going through what he's going through, much for him

    They're in their late 50s&60s and their bodies are worn out I'm sure every morning getting out of bed is painful and they're the lucky ones a large number of former wrestlers died from overdoses, suicide and drug and alcohol abuse

    Plus, all this living cost them time with their families, children. Lots of divorces/cheating. There's a lot of misery and pain in there. There's a reason that one of the most remembered promos in WWE history is that "My Sacrifice" promo.

    I disagree that Kane was scarier without the mask. I think mask added the mystery and the unknown. You don’t know if he’s raging, worse you presume he’s always raging.

    I think they are different kinds of scary. OG masked kane was like Michael Myers: he's scary because you have no idea what he's thinking or what he's going to do next. OG Unmasked Kane is like Freddy Krueger: he's scary because you know exactly what he's thinking and what he wants to do, and you cannot stop him.

    ( 5:23 ) Kurt Angle made a great point here. In my opinion Brock Lesnar had the most athletic and explosive ground game that the heavy weight MMA division has ever seen. As far as tactically wise on the ground, I would say no especially when you factor in jiu jitsu but his athletic ability on the ground was far superior to any heavy weight MMA fighter to date.
