Unforgettable Hermés Kelly Exotic Purse Restoration: ASMR

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This exotic Hermés Kelly Purse restoration is arguably our most satisfying transformation to date, right?
It arrived to our Clinic, in desperate need of some TLC. The exotic leather had become severely discoloured and contaminated, as a result of coming into contact with natural oils. Such a pristine purse required expert knowledge in order to return it to its former splendour.
Utilising a range of tools and techniques, we were able to lift the contaminants that had stained the exotic leather; leaving a refreshed canvas for us to restore the colour.
Any restoration undertaken on exotic leather is a timely one; due to the bespoke nature of each skin. Our artisan worked tirelessly to ensure a seamless and ultimately conservative finish; we hope you agree the result is truly beautiful!
Our exotic expertise isn’t limited to handbags, they extend to other leather luxuries such as shoes, vintage holdalls and sentimentalities of previous generations (exotic leathers regularly adorn vintage items as they represented societal positions and wealth in years gone by).
Allow us to assist you in restoring your leather luxuries by completing the quote linked below: www.handbagclinic.co.uk/online-quote
If you have any further queries, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team via enquiries@handbagclinic.co.uk and we’ll be in touch to guide you on your Handbag Clinic journey

    I truly appreciate the care you take when working on these iconic bags. I've seen other restorations on KZread where replacement of original fabric is unnecessarily done and it is painful to watch. You treat the bag with respect. I would most certainly trust you to restore my bags when the time comes. Thank you for displaying your talents to the world.

    the result is much better than it was before, although it seems like unfinished work to me. it shows all the brush marks, and the edge of the forward folded part of the bag looks frayed. correct me if I'm wrong.

    I assume you‘re saying you hope ALL leather and meat production and consumption stops at some point? Because anything else would be highly hypocritical. Exotic leathers are no different to any other leather. It is a dead animal. PETA has made people believe that exotic leather has its special place in the range of dead animal skins. But it‘s not. They are not exotic in the countries they were bred. It‘s exactly like lamb and cowskin. But your ignorance is forgiven. You have been brainwashed by the biased media and led into this hypocrisy like so many others.

  • @DanasLilMakeup

    @@Anthropologe fair enough just one question… do you eat alligator? Snake? Mink? “Vegan leather” is just plastic as well. Everything in this industry is al wrong. I think that leather coming from cows etc is still wrong, however if it comes from a place where the animal has been treated with respect and so on, is more “acceptable, lamb and calf skin is not right either, young animals should not be cut off that young from living a decent life. There’s a long way to go for sure but we have to start somewhere and animals such as crocodile and other “exotic” species should be left alone no questions asked.

  • @DanasLilMakeup

    Oh, and PETA is the least trustworthy organisation, they’re also a bunch of hypocrites. So you k ow, everyone have their own moral standards but common sense is something a lot of people seem to lack

  • @Anthropologe

    @Anthropologe

    @@DanasLilMakeup I actuall have eaten Alligator in the past, and they are eaten in Asia and the USA. So is snake, but Mink is not. BUT, and that is my personal opinion, it does not make a difference for what cause an animal was killed. We don‘t HAVE to eat meat to survive, it is a luxury. And so are clothes and accessories made from the animals. I don‘t think killing an animal for food is very different to killing an animal for clothes. As I already said it, a dead animal stays a dead animal. I agree that it would be better if all animals were treated with dignity and care until they are slaughtered for whichever use they serve after. But be assured that the exotic leather from the high quality sellers comes from farms just like they have them here for chicken and cows. They aren‘t skinned alive, and all those horrible things they say. I‘m sure there are a couple foul farmers, and that is the same for cows and so on who treat their animals badly. In the end everyone has to decide for themselves whether or not they can live with the thought of an animal being killed for either their food or their clothes. But I just think it‘s totally outta order to be so hateful towards exotic leathers alone. They are not more deserving than the others. I agree, PETA is extremely hypocritical. Especially their ideology that killing the animals they „save“ is ethically better than letting them roam freely on the streets. They shouldn‘t make that decision for any animal.

    I’m all for re using where possible but I feel that renovated items should be highlighted when reselling on your website. The buyer wouldn’t be aware that this item was restored unofficially unless they watched this video. Surely that affects the value? There’s no guarantee the restored colour is a genuine reflection of the original. There’s also potential problem if they took it to Hermes in the future.
