You know what the Taj Mahal is the greatest gift from the Mughals. Only because of some mughlas like aurangzeb the entire name of mughals have been spoiled but I don't think mughals were a liability and a problem to india.
Sir, it's narrated that there were toupees of pure gold net over every dome embedded with every kind of precious gems, particularly thousands of diamonds. These gem used to glow in moonlight and sunlight to make the monument look mesmerising. The British took those nets and sent then to Britain.
