She's not performing, knucklehead, she's communicating and enjoying interaction with her human. And she gets loads of physical affection. Social media & responsible bird owners (most of whom have taken in rescues) are actually a positive combination - the birds love their time with their humans and their humans can afford to be home more with them! Also, cozzys fantastic but I'd expect a fast paced show from a performing bird...

My friend had an African Grey that would imitate the ping of their microwave, among other noises!

have you ever considered explaining to Cosmo some of the physical differences in how mom makes sounds vs. how Cosmo does? i suppose there's no guarantee y'all would find phonology quite as interesting as i do lol... but the possibility of a bird picking up (and lbr, probably being sassy with) phrases like "vocal folds" or "articulators" would be too cool 😊

I saw a caller for parrots similar to what they use on dogs when they have surgery and they don't want them to pick at their stitches this can be immensely helpful for growing cosmos feathers back it makes it impossible for him to pluck his feathers out check this device out I saw this on KZread another KZreadr had a parrot with an injury and they put this collar on and it helped him immensely you need to give this a try it will restore all of his feathers love your content
