Skip is right on Harden. Rachel needs to stop defending him. Running out of gas is a part of discipline and conditioning. James has neither. In addition, he pouts and throws tantrums when he doesnt get his way which is a big indicator of where his mind is. Its time to admit that James doesnt have what it takes to win at the highest level. He is a very talented underachiever

The Clippers had to shoot lights out from 3 to win those 2 games. Shot 50%+ in game 1 and 60%+ in game 4. If their 3s don't fall that efficiently, they lose, because they simply don't have enough reliable players. Harden is hot and cold as he always has been, Russell is completely washed as a scorer, the man's brain is cooked when it comes to getting points, Kawhi is never healthy in the playoffs and George always comes and goes. There is not one consistent player on that team, not one.

Skip is usually a clown with his takes, but he’s right on the money when talking about James Harden’s colossal failures in the playoffs. Just look up his stats when his team was facing elimination in 2015, 2017, 2022, 2023 and this year. Dude has played so bad that you almost wonder if it was intentional.

If we stick with tryna win with Leonard there are cla couple weakness we need to fix. 1. Can't rely on Leonard to play big mins through out the regular season. There has to be a cap of between 28-32 mins per game. Hard cap on coach and player by GM and president. 2. Leonard has always won title with traditional position players. He is to old to become a rebounder and the switch style teams play is a disadvantage to his game. So you need to open up the cap or trade George and fill in some pieces at the role player level. 3. Jimmy Butler is a better fit with harden and Leonard going forward. He would are best perimeter defender and emotional leader. Plus like Leonard his best work is in the playoffs. I'm not sure if we are in position to get George to do a deal with us . If there's a team with limited cap that can allow only get him through trade I'd make that move but personally I'd rather go after Jimmy. I think he still has a yr or two so would mia be interested in George and other attached players would be the question. 4 . If we add more pf to the team I think we need to have a much better off system in place because I do believe harden is a guy we should bring back. Id like to see us run a similar offense to the 04 pistons where Leonard is getting more mid range shots without dribbling and harden doesn't have to create with the dribble as much in half court offense. Jimmy Butler is also a good facilitator so he could also run the offense with Leonard and physically he has more advantage against 1-3 position on defense as opposed to at times playing the 4 in Miami. 5. Russ can't shoot outside, can't make enough finishes, and his free throws aren't great either. Id like to see us invest in Powell , Bones, and Mann as a perimeter 6 man team. Bones is small but versatile in his attack. Powell clearly thrived with Russ but with mann and bones you could be better as a team in offense over relying on 1-2 guys to create or score. 6. James can't be Houston James I need him to use the whole floor no 3s and finishes only. In the playoffs clearly he wasn't use to be versatile in shot attempts and it hurt him because he is older doesn't have the energy or athletic abilities to just create that three or get to the lane so I need to see him play without predictable tendencies. 7. Lue needs someone to either run the offense or defense and pick one lane to make his name on. Personally I think you need need reach out to maybe rip Hamilton or someone from the team or staff that can teach offense they used with rip as the primary off ball scorer with Leonard in that role and harden as the bullips and Jimmy. To me that's the best way Jimmy can bring out the fire in the starting lineup he is clutch and can help you in many roles. I'd say James needs to be the volume shooter and Leonard and Jimmy need to be the smart shit guys and be more defense. I think we need finals MVP spurs Leonard not raptors. He is more valuable if he can defend and play off guys i don't like when he dribbles because he isn't a playmaker style ball handler and the other guys stand and go watch to much

And Ben Simmons gets a lot of Media Bash but deep down I know that he’s not only a lockdown defender to all positions and can run the floor with speed, quickness and Handles But just like players like Kyle Anderson, Batum and Aaron Gordon, Simmons off-ball IQ and awareness is elite + the way he hands the ball off and set a screen at the same as if he’s a big , it all makes up for his lack of shooting. Plus he’s a 6’9 unpluckable ball handler. Now I want Porzingis because we need a Power Forward Backend and he would be a good fit for us. He a 7 foot, 3&D rebounder with skill and post game. Clippers fan who were there before Kawhi/PG, will be there should they both leave. I gotta give it up to Clippers fans. They love hard lol and have voluntarily taken the "harder" road when the Lakers were/are the toast of the town/history of the league.

Its the young bucks show now. You got the Twolves and Thunder making noise right now along with the Nuggets. Possibly possibly Grizzles back at next year and then the Mavs. Even if Clippers were healthy the fact is Harden disappears in the Playoffs. Westbrook cant shoot and they are gonna be another year older. Not even gonna be able to catch up to these youngsters.

I’m rarely and Skips side but cmon. If the Lakers flamed out like this with 4 all stars they would be flamed.

Paul George going too Philly would be the stupidest move. 1- he's the exact opposite of what they need. That team cant rely on him for scoring in playoffs 2. Philly would just lose and would have no real chance of winning a chip
