People can say what they want. Charlo is a natural 154lb fighter. Charlo skipped 160lb and fought Canelo at 168lbs. Canelo may have outclassed him.. But the same would happen to any of y'all's favorite fighters if they went up two weight classes.. I'm surprised he made it the full 12 rounds. Give the man his props.. The fact Canelo couldn't stop a man that fights two weight divisions below him is a testament to how good Charlo is.

Canelo punches look so damn powerful, especially to the body. Over the years his stance and technique have evolved perfectly and adapted for his dense frame, like a little tank. I think he gives anyone trouble within a reasonable weight, although there is definitely some people he has been ducking; understandably. Not sure if it's him or his management making the call; but he's getting older and it's probably in his best interest to avoid certain fighters now.

Rewatching these highlights, as a canelo fan first, I can admit this fight would’ve been much more entertaining if charlo just had some balls and let his hands go. He’s crafty my favorite thing that about that fight was how he would tie up Charlo when he hit Charlo he would duck and the when canelo would put the headlock on him almost like he would stop Charlos momentum to start.

Boxers know a lot slick tricks 😂 but yeah it does stop their ability to counter like they want
Canelo is a beast dude is huge strong and his defense underrated
People can say what they want. Charlo is a natural 154lb fighter. Charlo skipped 160lb and fought Canelo at 168lbs. Canelo may have outclassed him.. But the same would happen to any of y'all's favorite fighters if they went up two weight classes.. I'm surprised he made it the full 12 rounds. Give the man his props.. The fact Canelo couldn't stop a man that fights two weight divisions below him is a testament to how good Charlo is.
Bravo à ce grand boxer, cannelo restera le meilleur.. Vive le Mexique
