Grew up with Underworld being blasted in my house ever since I was a baby (I'm 26 now), my Dad brain washed me with the best. So many memories, but this song is just so special. Always remember driving down the motorway with my friend blasting this, just pure euphoria it was wonderful, sadly he passed a few years ago but this song never fails to make me smile and think back to those good times, love you Underworld

I know exactly what you mean... haven't listened to this tune in quite a few months, but listening/watching it again right now a smile was automatically plastered on my face as soon as he sings 'And it's okay...' Great, great stuff.

This is such a great song to have stuck in your head. Ill just randomly blurt out "but its okay" No matter whats goin on haha. This is like a public service for mental health, thank you Underworld

Underworld + High Contrast = music that heals my soul.

The best is riding your bike around town and listening to this full blast in your headphones.

Our minds respond positively to certain frequencies played in a certain order. We also have an appreciation for the abstract which this songs centres around; both in its lyrics and in the noises coming out of the synthesizer. This might sound like a boringly scientific answer but to me it just beautifully showcases the wonder that is the human being.

I remember hearing this on its very first outing at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam in the summer of 2005. It was amazing then. It is even more amazing on the Barking album. Thanks, Karl. I am indebted to you and Rick (even Darren) and I am so happy that you finally recognised, faced, and fought your demons (gave them a proper kicking, yeah?). You lot inspire/ed so many and I am one of the millions of randoms who are still breathing because of the Tunage you and other artists create and are kind enough to share. Awaken from the void when almost faded away...The only voice to pull things back "It's ok you give me everything I need" and then.... its reborn.

This album, and especially this track, used to be the soundtrack to the runs I'd go on 10 years ago. Now, a decade later, thanks to a back injury I couldn't run 50 metres. I'm unfit and 25 kilos heavier than I used to be. I love this track, but it does kind of make me mourn the health I once used to have.

Sorry to hear, I know that feeling of lost ability and the conflict of good memories slightly tainted in this way. It really is hard to replace that feeling of fully free physical movement. At least we are lucky enough to have experienced them at one time. And we can try and express that enthusiasm and presence in other ways.

when i was 18 and moved out alone first time i took the time to burn only 1 cd for my car and listened to it everyday omw to work and home. underworld was the only thing on it lol, purely a fluke not fanaticism but i was too lazy and enjoying it to find different tunes for the road. i fell asleep omw home from an audit one day and ran halfway through a stoplight almost died to the song "moon in water" thankfully the roads in bismark at 11:30 are very calm and observant.
