I was too young to be old enough to fully appreciate this and now I'm too old to explain this
This track gives me goosebumps; I remember even now the time when i first I heard it, when I was younger and it still gives me the same rush.
Forever and ever, my favorite Underworld song.
The hallmark of the 1990s, at least in the post communist countries where we were high on the illusion of freedom, the naivety that things could only get better. It’s was like a drug but it was worth every single second.
What a classic. I love singing "rioja rioja reverend al green deep blue morocco" everywhere - even without listening to the song itself. ♥
Dave is floating, Dave is floating, and Old Man Einstein crazy in his attic crazy crazy crazy crazy crazy crazy crazy crazy crazy crazy crazy crazy crazy
"Dave is floating..." had that line hollered at me on repeat by my sister and our circle of friends back in late 1996! 😂
This song made watching the 1997 film 'The Saint' an experience with Val Kilmer and Elizabeth ?? running from Russian Mafiosos....definitely and 'edge of seat song'. Dancing wise you would knock down 500 to 1000 calories with arm flailing, hips swaying, shoulders twitching..simply an awesome experience...only 'Run Lola Run'' (1998) song called 'Believe" by Franke Potenta..comes close.
wow...this song was in my head for decades. THANK YOU
Nope. Full version or don't bother
I know this is cliche. But I cannot believe that the magical time of 90s underground electronica springing up into the world, is over and buried in that decade forever.
All these old Underworld music videos need to be remastered asap. They fit the songs so well.
love ya underworld, thanks for the amazing teenage music ever
amazing tune... 1999 i've bought this album and i'm still addicted to this sing...
2022 with a Pearl Girl
A perfectly realised giant of a tune in the EDM/Underworld pantheon, the greatness of which time does nothing to diminish. Oh, and the vid's bloody tasty too.
Love this. Have for decades!
Thank NOW 35 for introducing me to this.
I first heard Rez from them and thought that was cool from Amp on MTV. Then heard Pearls Girl and this song is what cemented me as a fan. I love this song and frequently reference it as one of the best electronic songs/tracks ever made.
I have been addicted for years...addicted to the blow minding sub-woofer punches in this song
